Appears that Gearbest has removed/absorbed the cost of GST.
Did i read it right in a review that this does not have GPS?
Only the LTE version has GPS.
This also is Widevine L3 so it won't play Netflix in anything above SD (without some work around at least)
Funny how an honest question gets negged. Wtf is wrong with ozb idiots.
Anyway. Thanks for confirming. Im in the market for a tablet to replace my now dead Asus Nexus 7. Not interested in going back to apple space.
You mean Google PLAY?
Gearbest currently has a promotion where the first 250 Orders Daily with Google Pay will receive US $10 off.
This one has LTE:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/8-Original-Xiao-mi-mi-Pad-4-PC-T…Great little tablet , replaced my 2nd gen nexus 7 … plays X265 1080p really well which my nexus didn't do anything over 10bits , face recognition isnt great.. but works great for my uses watching 1080p movies on the train and has sd slot unlike my nexus… so now filled with random junk that I will never get round to watching…. 1st world problems.
How dim does the screen get in low light? I'm after something that gets really dim to watch in the dark. If only amoled screens were cheaper!
the screens pretty nice, goes to almost black if you drop the dimness.. and gets bright enough to watch in the sun…
sunglasses
There are apps for dimming (more than your devices allow)
I still have my MiPad 1 with Tegra SoC, Android 8.1 :-)
