Description

Internet threats are a real thing - and surfing the web on a public connection can result in your personal data falling into the wrong hands. While most VPNs will help you surf undetected, some still maintain logs on your browsing movements, defeating the purpose of getting one in the first place! VPNSecure proudly assures that ZERO logs are recorded, so you can browse online with absolute peace of mind. And, with the Smart DNS component, you can even bypass those annoying geographical restrictions that block Hulu, and more abroad. Get VPNSecure, and you'll get a cross-platform VPN service you can trust.

Hey OP, I know you have good intentions, but I'm pretty sure VPNSecure was known for leaking IPv6 and DNS requests. You can get more info here: https://restoreprivacy.com/vpn-warning-list/

Did you read the paper that the page you link to references?

      • Android VPN Permission-enabled Apps
      • 2% egress residential
      • IPv6 and DNS, aren't forwarded through the app.

I know I don't use IPv6, and this paper only related to Android APPs.

I've used VPNSecure for a year or two now, with some issues using local servers, it's been quite good.

Anytime I see a service offering 'lifetime' subscription for a nominal fee it throws up a lot of red flags. It usually means the lifetime of that company is <1 year.

A few years ago I got a lifetime subscription to PureVPN for a nominal fee. It's still working well for me and I doubt they're going away any time soon.

      Sometimes it's worth the gamble.

      • I tend to treat a lifetime sub as a 12 - 24 month purchase and decide on whether the price will fit for that period of use. If I’m happy then getting any more is a bonus. If the price is more than I’d pay for that period of use, I’ll probably pass.

Would this be a good VPN for Netflix?

  • If you go to the VPN category it’s littered with other options. Personally PIA seems appealing as does TorGuard (note the TorGuard 50% code seems to be always available and easily found online).

  • What's the speed like? For this price, I am not expecting a whole lot.

  • Hmm. Apparently this VPN is based on Australia. I don't think I like that. Having them based somewhere else will add an extra layer of jurisdiction when someone wants your identity revealed.

When they say no logs, I don't believe that means the VPN has no way of identifying you.
