Worth $50. Over price and gimmicky.

While I like quite a few Dyson products. This product is indeed a gimmick.

"Quite" is a lie, if you have it on max, which is virtually the only setting worth using, this thing is loud. You're certainly not going to enjoy it in a bedroom overnight, better off with a ceiling fan if that's an option and you want quieter operation.

"Powerful" is also a lie, powerful against what? Nobody knows. The small floor fan I got for $30 outperforms this Dyson easily.

      Pure marketing this range.

      • Awesome review saved my wallet

        • Same!

  • The ones who paid $49 for the Plus membership, should feel good about it.

  • Yeah the highest setting on this fan is about the same as the lowest setting on a K-Mart fan. Quite disappointing.

  • The military use this principle on an leading and trailing edge of air craft wing for massive fuel and noise reductions. They've done this for years.

  • I went into JB the other day to look at these Dysons. Set them up at the distance I'd be sitting from them, and could barely feel a thing. Walked around the corner and put on a $99 tower fan from Sunbeam and yep, felt that one with some strong force.
And at high settings on the Dyson, it was as loud or louder than the other cheapers.

I like their vaccuum cleaners (when they were corded) but these fans are a joke.

  • This fan is useless, big in noise, low on air! Looks very good in the room when not in use !
