Most ebay plus items are already 10-20% more expensive than other sellers anyway.

From comments below, code appears to be working sitewide, not just Plus items.

      • +1

And no longer sitewide. Code fixed at 2:15pm.

        • +1

By "fixed" it seems it doesn't work for any items since 2:15

  • +10

10 items sitting in my cart waiting for a decent discount code and not a single one is eBay-Plus :(

    • +2

Give it another go. Code appears to be sitewide for Plus members :)

      • Thanks, but I think I missed the boat:
This code can't be applied to your order.

        • Yup, seems they've just fixed it.

          • @tightarse: Any word from eBay TA? They just removed the banner from the homepage and after checking a couple of listings the code no longer applies on any kind of eBay Plus SKU.

            • @scrimshaw: Yeh, I just found the same thing, it doesn't even work on Plus items now…

        • Another one here. Two plus items in cart combined over $100 total and getting this error. PITA.

          • @bigrizz: I tried chat, they had no idea, they said to try it agian later…

  • Usual 10am start time as well

  • +1

Where is the 15% discount that was on previously?

  • +3

What are they thinking? Isn't this supposed to be "New plus members only who's name begins with Z and are older than 95"?

    • +8

      The god zeus aproves.

  • +1

    Boo!

  • +3

    Error 404
    Ebay Plus items not found
    No Plus bargains

    Recommended solutions;
    - Buy jacked plus items instead
    - Wait for a new discount code next week

    +'d you

  • +3

What’s with the maximum discount being so low! I’m wanting to make a purchase but this works out to be <5% discount :(

    • They obviously want to attract low value sales to appease Chinese sellers.

    Meh

Hmm, just tried this on an ebay plus item, code didn't work.

Thanks all, I obviously missed the start time- I just saw 'TODAY' and got excited.

Edit: loving the downvotes just for misreading something. I'm sure the downvoters are perfect and have never misread anything.

  • Damn, spent $80 on eBay plus items last night lol

    • Why did you do that?

      • +9

        I do not know why

        • Username ch…ohhhh.

    • Claim the price match through eBay.

      • Doesn't the price match only apply to products you found on approved websites?

  • too little discount too high min spend

    • +3

      too restricted purchase selection

Any good deals on SSDS :D ?

    • +3

I'm too lazy to look as well.

  • Can we use the discounted ebay vouchers?

  • I have items that used to be listed as eBay Plus change to just regular listings. What's going on?

    • +3

They overspent their budget on free postage. So I'm afraid that your items have to go. And who knows what the rules are? They're arbitrary.

      • Never mind. Looks like it might be the seller who has opted out of it. I think sellers get slugged with lost postage charges when people return items.

      • +1

They're arbitrary, but there have been obvious cases of padding the shipping price to lower the item price on Plus items.

  • +3

Ebay USA got a sitewide 10% of code last week. I made a USA account on the day and bought a bunch of stuff I had in my cart.
Meanwhile, Australia gets 10% off for Ebay Plus members on 'eligible' Ebay Plus items…

  • +3

We're actually paying for these discounts (through our memberships).

    • No kidding? I wonder if Amazon Prime members are paying for all the free shipping and extra benefits with their memberships, too?

  • +2

Maybe because eBay knows many of us bought the gift cards at 10% discount, so they are not going to give us any more sitewide discount soon, don't want us to accumulate gift card 10% discount on top of sitewide 10% discount. They might wait another 3 years for us to use all those gift card before they expire, before they give us Aussies another sitewide discount again :-O

    • As we all know, eBay is the source of all things cheap, Chinese and imported.

they're getting hammered in the US because Trump is taxing all Chinese imports.
they're getting hammered in OZ because we've added GST to all imports.

So in sum, no revenue and no money to pay for the discounts!

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

Once I read the deal properly and saw it started at 10am, I was able to get a Pocophone F1 for under $450 posted (I'd post the ebay seller, but it was the last one left).

This ebay plus thing has already paid for itself a couple of times over now.

  • +4

It appears that PLUSME works on ANY Item over $75 (except exclusions listed items).

2PM Update: Fixed by eBay, now only eBay Plus items.

    • +2

Yep have also tested on a few non-Plus items and works for me too

    • Thanks RichardL. I've updated the title and added a note to the OP.

      • +1

Looks like it been fixed. Only eBay Plus items now.

        • Thanks :)

          • @tightarse: Did the promotion end?

Banner has been removed from eBay Homepage.

  • +2

Yep, works on all items, not just Ebay plus items. Maybe order sooner than later in case it gets fixed.

  • Signed up for 30 day trial. Code worked. Thanks heaps saved me $100. New Taylor Mini.

    Double fly buys, cashrewards. Bargain.

  • Anybody know why with these 10% off site wide deals that Target, Officeworks and Fantastic Furniture always exclude themselves? I don't ever recall these stores ever being included in these deals.

    • Because they use instore pricing which means they don't price jack?

  • +2

For some reason I can't use the code at all. It keeps saying "this code can't be applied to your order". Chatting with eBay rep, he doesn't even know the existence of the code lol.

    • You need to be an eBay plus member and transaction needs to be $75+. And not from excluded categories.

    • Same here, but I was able to apply the code first then I accidently unticked it and it gave me the error ever since…

      • Same boat. Won’t let me add it to anything, I added it to an item then deleted item from cart, from that point I haven’t been able to use it again.

    Any Nintendo Switch on sale?

    • You're better off going with the 20% of catch.Com and buying one there

      • Catch excludes Nintendo so good luck

        • You can't use Catch giftcards for certain products? That's ridiculous!

          • @FireRunner: could be just unidays maybe

Discount is valid for UNiDAYS verified members and is available online only at https://www.catch.com.au. Excludes all Marketplace, Apple and Nintendo products, and delivery fees. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer including referral codes and promo codes.

  • -3

Just to cover GST !! Not enough !!

  • Will this stack with Package15?

    • Just tested it and it's a no go

  • Won’t let me add to Phillips Hue Starter Kit :/ yep, I’m a Plus Member :(

Edit: yep, it’s an EBay Plus item, too.

  • its not working sitewide for me anymore (trial memebr of ebay plus), after the seller accepted the offer i made for item i wanted to buy :/

    • I would contact eBay since you've committed to buy and the code should be valid.
EDIT: Nevermind, I thought it was a quaifying eBay Plus item you were referring to.
It appears the code doesn't apply to anything anymore.
