I would say the induction version is even more of a bargain :)
Is it dishwasher safe?
You can place it in the dishwasher. Although, we recommend hand washing with all non stick frypan as its only a little soapy water and they are clean straight away.
How long the coating stays?
Staff members have pans that are over 8 years of age with the non stick coating in excellent condition still.
Thanks for your reply. Can you please tell us what is the manufacturer warranty on no-stick coating? There must be a limit to how long its recommended usage is.
The warranty on the non stick coating is for 3 years (same as a standard new car warranty - doesnt mean that the car is not expected to last longer than three years). The warranty on the manufacturing of the pan is a life time.
I have a Woll non stick frypan with detachable handle that goes from stove top to oven. Very handy. Had it for 5+ years and it is fantastic. Much better cooking heat distribution than other cheap frypans I have used.
The heat distribution on a Woll frypan is fabulous, no hot or cold spots very even cooking.
The IKEA pans are better value at around $20-$30.
Have been using it for about 2 years now and it's as good as new…
Way outlasted any >$100 pan I've had from circulon, scanpan etc…
