  • hi rep,

Is this filter + aeropress able to produce 15 bar pumps of pressure?
Aeropress likes to flog 'espresso' when it truly cannot produce enough pressure.
    Edit "espresso-style"

*I might buy one for my kit if it truly does.

Do you make espresso with 15bar pressure?

Anyway, this thing is more like a pressurised basket which isn't really espresso anyway.

    • Isn't the standard 9 bar? I've never heard of a machine going as high as 15 bar

      • yes Most commercial espresso machines in cafes are 9 bar

$40 seems quite steep for an add-on to the Areopress

  • Hi rep, do you stock toddy filters at all? Or can anyone direct me to a site that does? Thanks =)

Looks good but that $10 shipping sours the deal somewhat. Bit pricey in the age of free shipping or Shipster.

I use aeropress to not get espresso coffee

    " forms a creamy mouthfeel"
Through this comment and the pic, I am presuming that this device will produce more of a crema 'topping' on the coffee
I am no coffee snob and have purchased an Aeropress from you - which is very handy
But I miss the creamy crema topping - my favourite part of the coffee
Can the rep or others confirm this will produce more of a crema?

How does this make it quicker to drink?
