You can disable the renewal though. Although you need to do this through a browser as far as I can figure out. Odd that you can't disable through Xbox interface (unless you use Edge browser on xbox). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong as it just seems bizarre to have to do it that way.

Says The bonus codes expires 31 dec 2018, so does that means you would wait to receive the bonus codes, activate these first then after 3 months, activate the original 3 months gold pass?
I did a quick Google search and it seems that you can stack Gold memberships, meaning that once you receive the bonus code you can redeem it and it will stack onto the existing 3 month gold.

Its not as easy as that, i had a nz xbox live gold and i could not buy an aussie one when it was close to expiring. You have to literally wait for it to expire, in the time your gold expires, and you miss out on the deal
Its just a small disclaimer of the downside many people dont know about prior to buying these overseas gold subs
@ShortyX: Yes you have to. The system will not let you tack on the new gold code. You could also try to talk to microsoft directly
@ShortyX: Let's say you bought this subscription and you used this 'Brazil' code. I'm not sure what happens to your account in general, but it is true - gold is activated for the account for whatever period you bought it for.
However, the microsoft system probably notes that your account is brazillian in nature, and so when you buy an australian code and try to stack it on to your account, the system will spew an error, thinking that you are a Brazilian and not accept your 'overseas' code.
The only way that you can circumvent this is by letting your subscription to end naturally, by reaching the full 12 months. By the end of that, you can use any country's gold again without any hindrance. OR you can tack on more gold by buying more brazilian gold subs.
Can we purchase multiple vouchers? The voucher itself I know it probably can but would the bonus be valid for all purchases?
Good if you're just after a six month top-up, but if you're wanting to add another year or more you're not saving much over the regular CD Keys 12-month price of around $64. That said, it is another saving of $4!

Applied the first code to my Xbox account yesterday, received the bonus 3 month code today and when I try to redeem it, i get an error “You currently have a subscription from a different region”.
I haven’t changed my region (set to Australia).
Anyone else have this problem?
It's probably because you previously (or currently) have Xbox Live from another region.
I just purchased a XB1X, and bought the 3 month code from JB HiFi + bonus 3 months. Both redeemed OK, but if I try to extend my membership on the XB dashboard it gives me the error you are seeing.
When I log into my MS account online, it shows the two codes I redeemed with 'US$0.00' so perhaps it thought my console was in the US region.

Interestingly the Microsoft store did ask me if i was in US or AU when i went to initially redeem it - odd as i didn't have VPN on and was using an existing Microsoft/XBOX store saved bookmark?
Either way easy enough for my experience start to finish and props up the account for when i want a distraction downstairs or the nephews to run amok

When I entered the code on xbox, i was offered an extra month if I activated a subscription (4 months instead of 3).
Haven't got my second voucher from JB yet.
