Same price as PCCasegear, MWave, MSY, CPL and cheaper at Computer Alliance and Megabuy. Cheapest at Budget PC in Vic.

You might want to spend an extra $169 and go the LG 34UC99-W.

It's an IPS panel and damn beautiful.

    • 75Hz vs 100Hz
      sRGB 99% vs 125%

This is a better pick from my point of view.

  • For those who might not know, the panel size is about the same height as 27” 16:9, but 200mm longer in width

  • I was looking at this monitor before settling with another.

The VESA mounting solution for this screen is terrible - especially if the back of your monitor will be seen. Also there are issues with Freesync on this monitor that I don't think have been fixed since it's release. Check out other reviews if you're interested.

Samsung C43J89 is another interesting monitor now in production. 43" ultrawide.

I think if folks can wait, you'll see a price drop on all 34" ultrawides when the new range comes out. Higher refresh rates is the big difference, will push current models down noticeably.

Most of the brands are bringing out next Gen in coming months.

    • Thanks for the head up. I can wait for the inevitable price drop or new entry price for the new 43" monitor.

    • No GSync or FreeSync on that model. I'd say the new 200Hz models will top $2k so might not push the $1.3k monitors down much. The reason it'll cost so much is apparently the GSync 2 module costs $500 just by itself.
