LG Neochef 42L Stainless Steel Inverter Microwave - $193.60 (Free C&C or + Delivery) @ The Good Guys eBay

210
P20TGGS

Great price on the most highly reviewed microwave when I did my research about 3 months ago

The stainless steel is usually much more expensive than the black model or white model, and I believe this is the best price I've seen to date.

Update: The price dropped today, but plenty of people still bought at full price throughout the sale https://i.imgur.com/yuUFTxM.jpg

Ends tonight so act fast

The alarm melody might get on your nerves.. besides that it’s a great microway

    • I don't even notice it tbh, the one on my LG washing machine is a lot more annoying

  • I realised after posting that this is the MS4266OSS (with dial) whereas when I was doing my research I was looking at the LG MS4296OSS (touch buttons)

From what I can tell they are usually the same price but good guys seem to only stock the one with the dial, whereas harvey Norman, Myer, betta stock the one with the touch screen

Fwiw I've had the touchscreen one since July and when you're cooking you often have food on your fingers so a dial you can change with the palm of your hand might be good as ours needs the touch buttons cleaned regulary

    • Thanks for the info. I would imagine the dial to be easier than those slow push buttons. So for ease, you would go the dial over the button or you are happy with what you have, given the choice?

edit: just read this review on the dial version:

One major problem… it uses a dial to set the cooking time. The time interval increases in 10 seconds interval starting from zero or 99 minutes depending on which way you turn the dial. The interval increases to 30 seconds interval after several turns and increases to 1-minute interval once it reaches 20 mins!
Imagine you need to set it to 50 minutes, and you have to do this everyday! Poorly designed. The number pad is still my preference.

      • I have an old dial one but as with every microwave use the start button to add 30s and press is for as much time as needed.

The only time I use the dial is when the thing breaks which it has been doing every few months for at least 5 years.

  • Have the dial one, it's great. I was also concerned about the melody but it's not very loud, much less compared to a normal completion beeper.

    • Yep it's normally a good $30+ cheaper so the makes this s/steel one ever more compelling
