    BARGAIN!?

RRP $210!? What are they doing? cutting my hair for 8 hours?!

    • +2

For 8 hours they will follow you around styling your hair to suit the surroundings.

    • It's not just a haircut, if you click the link. Maybe the description and title should be edited to clarify what's included here?

$210 for a haircut? I think that must be one of those old-fashioned barbers that is a front for sex services.
The discount price is a bit of a hint. How much for a haircut "and nothing else"?

    • How much for a haircut “and nothing else”?

$38 is their normal price just a "Men's style cut & dry" according to the price list: http://www.azul.com.au/hair

This package includes a style cut, shampoo, scalp massage and back massage or facial for $68, plus a $50 coupon for the next visit ($150 minimum spend). Not my kettle of fish, but it doesn't seem to be a bad deal (assuming the hairdressers are actually skilled, and it's not the receptionist cutting your hair!) for those who might want the extra services.

  • How do you establish RRP? Aveda charge $85 and they use the best products - total rip off!

    • +1

RRP is the price the owner decides to write on the sign.

    • Their price list is here: http://www.azul.com.au/formen

No directly comparable package listed on their site, but a "$210" RRP is within the realm of possibility since it's not just a haircut being offered here. What does Aveda give you for $85?

  • +1

does this haircut have a "happy ending"?

    RRP = Really Ridiculous Price

  • Who in the hell, other than the OP, thinks $70 for a haircut is a bargain? HONESTLY! This is Ozbargain, guys. You'll find some of the tightest people here. I get my hair cut for $15 and I think that's expensive. Who would pay RRP$210 for a damn hair cut?

    • +1

It's not $70 for just a haircut — their normal price for a haircut alone is $38 according to their price list. This is a package that includes a style cut, shampoo, scalp massage, and facial, plus a $50 coupon for the next visit ($150 minimum spend). I'm not voting postive on this deal, but I wonder if those voting negative are actually reading what this deal includes.

      • Absolutely a rip off, If idiots that have more money than sense believe that paying anything more than $20 for a haircut is worth it better line up with the girls next time they have their hair cut…
It costs me $18 which includes; conversation with the barber, a fine selection of magazines to choose from, friendly advice on which products to use…
Really exactly when did we (men) feel a need to waste money on this crap…
