I know that this is around their usual price, but I have one and the speed is alright, and it is fairly sturdy which is why i like it. I drop it a lot and it never breaks.

For anyone looking at this, my advice would be to spend more and get a real nice, fast one. It makes loading documents/media/cad drawings so much less painful. I have a Patriot Xporter Rage 8GB for $19 from MSY and after using one of these Lexars for 2 years, it made setting up on a different PC a breeze (with decent read/write speeds so running off it was practical).
