    If only it has b28!

  • At the moment there is a major bug that flogs the CPU if you use the fingerprint scanner function which in turn kills battery life.

I was near empty by the afternoon. I thought it was just because of the "small" battery.

    I would wait before committing.

    Otherwise, it's a great phone.

    • Is the bug for Xiaomi Mi A2 only? Nokia 7 plus uses same CPU too.

      • Just the mi A2 and it's particular brand of fingerprint scanner. Goldix I believe.

  • You need add GST to it:

    Item Sub-total AU$300.29

If you're in Vic or NSW metro, then you can possibly get the 64GB variant for $309 delivered from Kogan. Shipping is around ~$15 for those postcodes, so you can use Shipster to get free shipping. Create a new Kogan account via the referral link on this page and use your $10 referal credit to bring the price down to $309.

Perhaps not worth the extra effort if you're fine with 32GB, but I believe Kogan might be a better option when it comes to warranty and support.

The only thing that kills this phone for me is no NFC.

I bought this one recently. Unfortunately, speakerphone starts automatically while I am on the call. Upon going through forums, found out that it seems to be an issue with proximity sensor. Moreover, battery drain is another big issue (covered by the comments above).

I am returning this one today.

lucky, I almost bought it but i purchased redmi note 5 for external SD card and very happy with battery last 2 days.

I agree - I wanted an A2 for stock android but couldn't justify the price over the note 5. Seeing the issues with the A2, and the "close enough to stock for me" experience of miui+novalauncher, no regrets.

        • Do you know if the a2 light has any issus also?

As the A2 light has big battery what made you then decide on the Note 5 instead?

I have a Note 4 and really like it, great as my second entertainment phone for youtube videos for the Kogan sims deals lol.

Looking in future at a A2 or Note 5 if super deal turns up, but glad now I waited although I don't use finger print access.
