How to get the "10% off using discounted eBay gift cards"

    • Some people stockpiled gift cards from this deal or this deal a few weeks ago.

      • Oh I missed it :(

Is it the same thing for $29.99 and great reviews? WFT!

That one's even got TWO extra buttons on the remote! Damn.

    • +1

By my count the one you linked has 590 extra games over the Nintendo Classic Mini NES.

damn this looks like a way better deal !!

    • Thats a steal

Do modern TVs even have red/white/yellow AV inputs?

    • +1

it's unlicensed, and not in HD.
The real NES Classic Mini has save states. Much better experience.

      • I find save states really cheapen most games.

        • Good thing they're optional then

Not sure about this one, but something to keep in mind with bootleg retro systems in general is that the controllers are usually absolute garbage. As in, not really worth playing garbage level.

Though for most people, they'll unbox the NES mini and play it for 15mins and then never again anyway.

      • True I purchased the NES Mini back at the end of June. still haven't got around to playing it yet. Although I still want to hack it to add more games. Will definitely make it more playable with more games than be limited to the standard 30 that it comes bundled with. That most will probaby get bored of after not to long.

Worst thing about the clone consoles is all the hacked games that come bundled with them. Most of them are just mods of retail games and not very good ones at that. With sprites, textures, sound etc changed. Input lag and not very good emulation.

Hey now, Super Mario 19 is actually pretty good.

        • You haven't played it, yet you want to mod it? Doubt you'll play it after it is modded. Just get stuck in first.

I bought this exact unit from a deal put on here, but removed shortly after (unlicensed), for $12.90 delivered from Dress Lily. It worked great, and controllers were exactly the same as the NES. There are 620 games, startup is instant and no loading, the emulation is 90% accurate (some blurring and colour differences) but overall very impressive, especially for the price. Games include Mario 1 and 3, DK NES, TMNT 3 and 4, Double Dragon I and II, Mega Man, Tennis and a whole heap more.

Only negative was the power port at the back. This has a design fault whereby you cannot really unplug/plug in too many times, as the DC power port is brittle and brakes, rendering this useless.

Long story short; If you keep this unit plugged into the same place and don't demand 1080p graphics (preferring to enjoy nostalgia) you can't go wrong at $29!

      • Pretty sure i bought that unit, and my experience was quite different. One controller was DOA, craploads of duplicated games, awful image with interference, difficulty navigating the list etc. Very disappointing

      • and controllers were exactly the same as the NES

        I doubt it.

    • Most people want HDMI.

  • Overpriced!

Tell that to the folks who paid $300+

        Yeah, so sad :(

They are called Rich Sheep, same people that buy Apple products

        • Looking a little green there.

Hacked mine. Put all 714 NES games on it. Pretty cool.

  • +2

Poor sods who overpaid for it off ebay etc

Just use a emulator on your phone or a hacked 3DS >_> , anything is better and more portable

    • +1

Hacked 3DS is a good alternative, touch screen on phones, not so much.

  • no worth to buy it…..

  • old but still the best one!

  • Paid 100 for the NES Classic and 120 for the SNES Classic. I haven't even open the package yet. Should have waited until now.

  • I get an error applying the code. Tried several times hours apart…
"We ran into a problem. Please try again later."
    Anyone get it to work?

  • Thanks.. I just Purchase it….

The fake 620 games mini NES are crap. (Got from gearbest)

  • The games are not in that listing, I found them on another site so thought I would post them here in case anyone else wants to know.
