I saw this on the weekend and bought one , its actually really good quality for the price and it looks great, used it 3 times already and does a good job .

  What's the steps involved to turn this into a smoker for ribs etc? Just a smoking box?

    It can be used as a smoker.
    It's all about how you regulate the temp.

        It's called the snake method. Search on youtube.
        You have adjustable ventilation openings that will help with temp control.

        • Me too. I'm picking it up tomorrow. Hoping that this bloody thing is good. The day after buying it, I walked through bunnings and saw 2 bbq's, 1 for $399 and 1 for $59… I am just praying that my billabong kettle isn't a fancy $59 version.

          @clandestino: I think you will find that the bunnings one is closer to the Weber compact were this one is more closer to the classic Weber, dimension wise anyway. I think for an extra 40 buks it’s worth it.
