Cheapest I could find elsewhere was $47 at Officeworks and BigW. Delivery starting at $10 is not worth it unless you buy over $100 to qualify for free shipping.

There are still a lot of TV's out there that don't have casting or maybe only screen mirroring. I have 3 perfectly good TV's and don't see myself updating until one of them fails. Plus I can use my phones Windscribe VPN app to access US Netflix with it.
My hunch is most bought their TV before Chromecast was produced…
Prev versions where no good for casting long periods 8hrs a day , they overheat and pop in on and off the network, so time for an upgrade,

Be aware, tons of "Google Chromecast" on Ebay are fake, even those that advertised clearly as Google Chromecast version 2 with exact SKU. Only the ones starting mid $40 are real.
