For those that don’t know, the Yeezy (Kanye West colaboration with adidas) sneakers are a highly sought after limited release. Purchasing from an adidas store, you’d usually be lining up the night before to even attempt to get a pair. Even jumping on the adidas site now will put you in a queuing system to randomly select you to have a chance at purchasing. Different colourways of these shoes are on resale markets for up to four times the retail price.

You can jump on Yeezy Supply right now and catch a pair in early release. Not sure if free shipping will extend past 2:00pm (which is when the early release is scheduled to end).

      Hmm, didn’t think about that. At what point do they charge that? I’ve purchased from Yeezy Supply in the past and to my knowledge, I didn’t get taxed anything.

        well considering this is the first yeezysupply drop since the new tax laws came in - that would be why.

        Also I am unsure about how it works as I have stopped shopping since the laws changed haha sorry - im sure some other ozbargainer would know

          Its not the first Yeezy drop since the new laws came in. My purchase last week for the 700s had no taxes applied.

          @Neis: nice, yeah with shipping from YS the 700s was actually cheaper to cop on Adidas AU. The temp free ship on YS right now makes these creams cheaper than Adidas AU atm :)

      GST is vendor applied and YS do not apply GST, also as under $1k no customs tax. I literally just made a purchase last week and no issues with any taxes

      The tax is collected at point of sale, not when it comes to AU.

      Boost sole is incredibly comfy in this silhouette and the width is perfect (at least for me), one of the most comfortable shoes i've ever purchased, more so than the ultraboost.

      Yeezys are great if you value that kind of comfort or are planning to resell at 1.5x - 3x the price (quite common).

    Yes guys this is Kanye’s site. Personally I’m gonna take a miss on these, too mainstream of a drop. Plus with duty and gst costs, the sneakers will be over $340. Get them off adidas au if you are copping.

    I understand I know nothing about fashion and nothing against the cool people here - to me these shoes are up there with the stupidest looking sneakers I've seen.

      These aren't much different to many other sneakers following the recent trends. It's all about knit uppers and massive hovercraftesque soles these days. I find them a bit stupid looking too but there's no denying they're bloody comfortable. You can get that comfort with much cheaper adidas boost shoes though.

    This is the official Kanye site so they're all real.
    Hype is dead because these ones are mass produced.
    Returns/exchange/refunds are NOTORIOUSLY difficult on Yeezy Supply for the US let alone overseas. Better off getting from Adidas AU or buying from a reseller for retail because these are bricks.
    I did buy a pair though….

      I’ve posted a pair of shoes that are available for purchase at a cheaper price than RRP. Are you negging because you don’t like Kanye? Because you don’t like the style of the shoe? Or because they’re from an international site?

      I’m aware you’re not obliged to answer me, but I’m trying to help out those in the OzBargain community that (a) love sneakers (b) love deals on sneakers (c) have never had the chance to buy a limited pair because they get snatched up by bots within minutes of being released. I’m genuinely curious as to your decision to give me my first neg in my time posting deals to OzBargain.

    the money i made on the 700 drop last week makes this an easy cop, but I would NOT be buying these for resale.

      I agree it can be very difficult to tell a real from a fake Yeezy, but this is Kanye’s site and these shoes are not fake. It actually is ‘possible for such low price’ because the exchange rate from USD to AUD makes the shoe cheaper to buy from this site than Adidas AU RRP.

    Hey guys, still waiting on my shipment from Yeezy Supply.. bought two pairs in separate transactions. The first pair, I still dont have any confirmation, but the second I have a confirmation is on the way but when you go to track it there is no information. Anyone that has ordered got theirs yet or at least proper tracking info ??
    *Update, i was able to track the second pair if I put the tracking number in HK Post tracking instead of TNT which the email links to. Says it shipped Friday 28th fingers crossed I get them soon!

    How long is an acceptable time to wait for some kind of status or indication that they have been shipped and on the way?
    Ordered on the 25th and all I've received is an email saying order confirmed, click here to view your order.
