Be careful of this seller as per issues here: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1211749

      2009? lol.

      • Scroll down.

I ordered my 5T from this seller with no problems. Crazy fast shipping as well.

      • bought huawei p9 from this seller when it first came out ,no problem

        • think its when something goes wrong with the phone is the problems..

      • Same. I have ordered 2 phones off him them now. They smashed it out of the park both times. Delivery for both devices was super fast and everything came as described. I can't really fault them myself. I'll be getting the OnePlus 6T off them if the price is right.

It is a bit like buying off Umart/MSY, if you want customer service and warranty then pay 30%-40% extra and go to Harvey Norman. No one who has a shred of common sense buys a device off a Chinese international seller and expects a warranty. It goes without saying that your chances of getting your phone repaired or replaced under warranty is next to 0. Best case they will try fix it themselves with some terrible replacement parts or just give you someone else's rubbish phone they managed to get working again.

Unfortunately eBay does not prevent them from claiming to be an Australian seller which really sucks. None of their stuff ships from Australia, it all comes out of China.

  • don't have plus membership,so bought the oppo r15 for $542 inc shipping with code pollen.
    was considering this one

    • You can simply subscribe for trial membership and cancel on the 29th day. You wont be charged

Previous experience with 7272wil is that they state to ship from Australia but ship from China / HK but using DHL (fast courier).

    • I bought my phone from perfect mission, same deal. But to be fair, it was quicker than local shipping (took like 2 business days I think, crazy). And it's grey stock either way.

    • This helps you avoid GST though.

  • Pretty low feedback for an Australian seller. Combined with the whirlpool thread above you're probably better off paying the extra $60 to COTD.

    • +4

$60 would be reasonable, but it's $149 price difference.

      • +2

You're right, sorry. I'd mixed up with 64gb/128gb options with the colour options. Maybe worth risking it for $149, but tbh that's such a large difference you wonder if the seller is legit (COTD isn't exactly uncompetitive). Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on a paypal dispute and/or chargeback.

      • It's actually a $65 dollar difference if you buy it from catch with gift cards from here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/387474 plus the 3% cashback

You have to pray your phone won’t have any issue as this seller does not provide any after sale service or warranties.

    • +3

Does any of these grey stock sellers? But do be fair, you probably save enough to more than cover the occasional issue. Surely everyone knows the tradeoff from these sellers?

      • Qd are pretty good ime. They were even fixing G4 that were out of warranty. So to answer your question, yes there are grey stock sellers that do. And they also offer bargains. So I'll support the sellers that do offer after sales support.

  • +1

One of the worst sellers in regards to warranty issues

  • I just know 1+ belongs to OPPO mobile. And I am an employee of OPPO, lol.

  • +2

What are you all doing to your phones? I have never had to return a phone for warranty ever. Touch wood I guess.

    • +2

Why do you feel that people's usage is the reason for warranty returns, and not issues with design/quality/longevity of the phone?

    • It was fine until G4

  • +1

    97% feedback, passed

  • Dodgy seller, I once try to buy a phone from them but after I asked about warranty and shipping they blocked me from buying. Their lost not mine.

I bought a OP6 about a month ago, phone arrived in 5 days from overseas (I find it dodgy when it says the item is in Australia). So far so good… Hope my phone won't need after sales after reading all your comments

    • +1

      No GST then lol!

  • Either way its a nice phone. Grabbed an S9+ for qantas points with sale and birthday code stacking.

Would consider this if I had to buy it with cash

  • anyone know if these are the a6000 or a6003 models?

    • Its the a6000 so it's missing some european lte bands 30, 32, 71

  • Does anyone know when the plus15 deal ends?

  • midnight black price was just jacked up
