Just so you're aware, a CR tracking email is no guarantee you'll have your funds approved. Lenovo can very well decline your cashback when they consolidate their sales as this coupon is specifically (and obviously) meant for another publisher (SB) and the commission will likely go to them.

      • and Just so you are aware, my cash rewards was approved and received (cashed out)

Not sure how long coupon SHOPBACK2018 has been active, but Lenovo takes 95 days to approve. If you ordered the laptop less than 95 days ago, the funds can’t yet be approved. Having said that, if you did get paid, that’s awesome.

    • which version of the Yoga 730 did you get? How are you finding it (if it has already arrived)?

I got the 15. I downgraded to a 14" yoga flex 4 for my last laptop and it just wasnt big enough for design work. Love it, was already used to the Yoga so wasnt too much of a wow factor. The 8th gen i7 and the GTX 1050 make a big difference though

        • I just picked up the Yoga 730-13 (from Hardly Normal - as they have the one with the 4K screen). They are a nice piece of kit, a huge upgrade from my Asus U36SD (Sandy Bridge i7). But I have noticed that I can't seem to get BitLocker to work on it. Have you tried on yours?

        • @aim54x: Nice, I didnt go the 4k as it chews the battery more then FHD and FHD on a laptop is more then enough. Would only go 4k if i was using it for gaming, even then FHD looks good to me!

Cant say ive used BitLocker, even had to look it up. Not sure i really need it although i do keep some Crypto stuff on mine so might explore it a bit more. This seemed to give a good run down - https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-bitlocker-encryption-…

  • I've got the X1 Carbon for work and the Yoga 920 at home. The X1 is amazing but I'm not a massive fan of the 920. The Yoga C930 that is out in October looks amazing.

    • I agree that C930 looks amazing

  • Have never been more disappointed as a 15 year user of thinkpad products. Can't find a 15" laptop without the silly keyboard with side number pad which means you can't type centred on the laptop (poor ergonomics to which lenovo as just woken up on with the X1 extreme and P1) + a traditional mechanical/side docking option. Spent a hour with lenovo consultant tonight and no such option across the full lenovo range! Closest option is the X1 extreme with thunderbolt docking station (docking station being a $500 option on its own and still needs cables connected to the laptop to dock the thing!). Will end up costing me 3x what I paid on my last high end thinkpad purchase with less functionality!
