Been looking at Foxtel recently for iQ4 and the cricket in summer. $125 for the new iQ4 box, installation and 3 months of Foxtel looks like a ripper if at the end of the 3 months people call Foxtel and negotiate the ongoing costs. The going rate seems to be $39 p/mth for Sports HD and $89 p/mth for Platinum HD.

This seems like it is probably a good deal, with a reservation about what happens at the end of the 3 months. Can anyone advise if they have been through that and if this deal is just a loss-leader by Foxtel to get longer term subscribers?
