$150 Cashback for New Foxtel Residential Customers @ TopCashback

60

With Kayo bumping up their 2 screen cost to $40, I was shopping around to see if Foxtel is perhaps worth thinking about again - and I found this deal. (ATM $65 per month is cheapest option, 12 month contract).

Yep, no value there. $65 per month summer deal currently (for 12 months) is where the value is.

$65 per month is where the value is.

You have a warped understanding of 'value'…

      • Value?$800 a year to watch a couple of footy games and MotoGP?? Thats value?

Stop the world, send me back to 1985

        • $65 x 12 =$780.00- $150 Cashback =$630.00 = $52.50pm vs Kayo $40pm.

Could be considered value for extra non-sport content … but play on!

And good luck with all that live sport in 1985 :)

          • @sniffa: People could afford to go to the games back then :)

    Tell him he's dreaming.

  • Only value if u leave after 1st month with a burner account and card. And even then if the fb doesn’t go through it would be a pain to appeal and then have Foxtel say u. Told contract etc. not worth the hassle or risk

  • Jousting sticks.

  • I just cancelled my Foxtel. Played the 12 month discount game for one last time last year. Plan was discounted to $46.50 for 12 months, and low and behold, the very next month they notified me of an $8 per month increase. Called them again and told them where to shove it, and of course after a lengthy run around, they returned the plan at $46.50.

The discount ended this month and the plan is/was now $101 per month. Sick of the crap that is Foxtel and News Corp in general, so called retentions (option 7) and cancelled it. They offered a discount to $79 a month for 12 months, which was the lowest possible price, plus an updated IQ box. Nope, shove it. Low and behold, the very next day after cancelling it, I get an email offering a new plan of $58 a month for being such a good customer. Ignored this and a week later received a further offer of $53 a month for 12 months. The box is going back to them in today's mail.

    Good riddance to ya!

  • What are the options in Season 2025 for watching AFL Football ?
I am hearing that SEVEN will show only the teams games of my home state, ie Giants and Swans for the first 8 weeks.
Kayo is $40 PM for two screens, but all other Fox Footy shows, eg. 360 are not on Kayo.I am not interested in any of the other sports shows Kayo run And I want HD or UHD for my TV screen.
Fox is an option,(albeit a costly one) but I no longer have an account or set top box.
There is a dish on my roof that as far as I know is still connected to the outlet.
Suggestions as the way to go please.
