  • does it come with english sticker?

    • According to the previous post, an English manual is provided.

PS. I've been advised by the rep that an English sticker is provided.

    • +1

Mine came with an english sticker. It's on a white envelope taped to the front of the box

      • Are you happy with your purchase?

        • Definitely

        • @FiftyCal: why

        • +2

          @sian72:

          Item as described.

If you have used a bidet before, you know how awesome it is to not have to wipe up after having a hot curry.

        • +1

@FiftyCal: Why do people say this about bidets all the time?!

You TOTALLY still have to wipe, it's just that you're probably gonna be wiping spotless clear water.

        • Bollocks, my bidet has a dryer function. Now my ringpiece is warm and toasty because my bidet comes from Japan, man.

        • @cannedhams: ok true but those are a thousand dollars

        • @FiftyCal: how is your water pressure? Complaints in this thread sadly?

  • Lol does it play classical?

  • My water pressure is so disappointing! Anyone knows if the included filter being sideways will cause that?

    • +11

You may need to get your prostate checked

    • I think the water pressure is too strong, LOL. There are 3 levels you can choose.

      • +1

There's no such thing as too strong, a warm morning enema for free is bliss. I want to put through 150 litres of water a minute through my butthole.

    • I agree, the water pressure is crap. i had my filter sideways too if that's the problem?
On the highest setting the water pressure is a light spray, my old bidet was a jet - similar to a garden hose.

      • Could you have mounted anything backwards?

    • What do you mean by the filter 'being sideways' ?
Maybe pressure is low, because it's stopping itself from spraying water before it heats it up?

      • +1

The water point on my wall only allows the filter to be mounted sideways. The water was warm when using it, either I've done something wrong or i'm too used to my other unit. Other unit doesn't require a filter.

        • I just ordered one, so I pray you're wrong. The guy up above says the pressure is too strong.

Maybe your filter is clogged or something is installed backwards?

        • @hamwhisperer:

The install is very straight forward and hard to mess up.
          Happily proven wrong however.

For reference this is my current one.

        • @flashkick: so you actually switched to another one due to the pressure issue?

        • +1

Hey mate, I am going to Bunnings this weekend to see if I can make the filter/bottle to stand up straight. I am in the same boat as you, water is warm but the pressure is weak compared to any bidets I have used. Since you also have it installed sideways, I think that might be the problem. I will report back.

        • @lookingforTV: Please do, love to hear more about it.
My T-junction will be attached pointing upwards, based on the look of my bathroom..

        • @hamwhisperer:

Yes, i went back to my vidaxl.

        • @lookingforTV:

Thanks mate, look forward to hearing back.

        • +1

@flashkick: Why did you buy the Xiaomi to replace the vidaxl originally? Looks like they're fairly similar but the vidaxl has a drying function that the Xiaomi lacks. Had you not had the pressure issue would you have stuck with the Xiaomi over the vidaxl?

        • @flashkick: oh wow, that sucks!
I hope we can find out why the pressure is so bad?

        • +1

          @WazzaP:

I bought the Xiamoi to replace the vidaxl for 2 reasons.
First, vidaxl's bidet is very large & bulky it's a complete eyesore.
Two, it has no function to move the bidet spray back and forth, so manually repositioning on the toilet is required.

Other than that vidaxl has been perfect.

So yes, to answer your question - if the pressure was the same as Xaimoi's bidet it would have remained installed.

        • @flashkick: Fingers crossed someone finds the solution to the pressure. At least one poster claims it was actually too high.

There's at least 3 posts saying it's too low though.
Wonder if it's tied into mains in any way (presumably not, if your other bidet is fine)

        • @flashkick: hey mate, I put my filter as straight up as it can be. Unfortunately, it did not change anything for me. I have backflow prevention brass installed (going into water tank of the toilet) but I don’t see how that will affect the water pressure on bidet. Sad days. I am not satisfied with this bidet unfortunately.

        • @lookingforTV:

Thanks for the feedback mate, perhaps we got duds?
I spoke to the seller and he wouldn't let me return it - he wanted video evidence of the water pressure.
I looked on YT and found the other people's water pressure was similar so maybe we are just fussy?

Try Vidaxl's bidet if you want something more powerful.

    • Hi all,

New here, my filter is installed sideways but the water pressure is still great.

Have you guys considered that you haven't loosened the valve enough after installing it? ( I think everyone must've closed their valve for installation but maybe you guys didn't loosen it enough afterwards which means you'd have low water pressure) its probably the first thing you guys did, but on the off chance you didn't I hope this helps!

  • Can this be used if your house uses a combo of rain water and mains water?

    • If you can bathe in it, you can use it.

    • ah i didn't think of that, my place uses a water tank for flushing and switches to mains when empty… not sure i'd want that dirty water near my rear if you know what i'm saying, haha

      • This has a multitude of filters for the water

    • depends if you're okay with rain water being shot app your (profanity)

this feels like a really dumb question but do you need a powerpoint next to the toilet for this to work or????

    • +1

Yes it needs power to work.

    • I don't have a PowerPoint. See if you can work with the video
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgTKsIhgykI

    • +3

What kind of home have power sockets near the toilet ?

      • +2

With almost everyone carries their phones to the toilet, soon every house will have a power socket near the toilet.

      • A lot? Many toilets are in a bathroom with a power point for shavers, hairdryer etc…

    • What about the water? Does it include some adapter to use the same hose that goes to the flush? Ta

      • +1

Yeah comes with a t-junction, search online for installation videos.

    • Sadly yes, the biggest shortcoming.

    • We are currently building a new house and we had to get a PowerPoint installed in the toilet

    • +1

After visiting Japan and loving the toilet seats, I made sure I put in a powerpoint next to my toilet in my new house! I still haven't bought a bidet seat yet but I feel comforted knowing my powerpoint is there when I eventually pull the trigger. :D

I'm fairly sure this would need to have WaterMark licensing as it's technically part of the plumbing and drainage system. This means that it would be illegal for a licensed plumber to install one of these and that there have been no Australian checks into whether this product is fit for purpose, or even safe. Surprised no one has mentioned this on the other various Xiaomi plumbing products that have come up on OzB. Not saying it isn't cheap, just don't buy this type of thing and expect a plumber to install it, and expect it to be potentially quite poor.

    • Would probably require an Electrical C tick as well.
I think that the plumbing has been mentioned somewhere before.

    • It's been working very well so far—very happy with purchase. English sticker was the only thing I thought wasn't good enough so I kept the chinese one on. 10-15 minutes to install - it takes longer than that just arranging a plumber. It's also been designed so any numpty can do it.

One thing to take note of, the seat is very long. Mine barely fit lengthwise, even though according to specs it's well within range. My bowl fits a normal Bunnings seat very easily.

Oh and another thing to take note of (at least in my case) is that on the filter, the threading for the hole that goes to the cistern starts quite late, so I had to cut down part of the unthreaded section. My description is terrible, but once you get it you will see what I mean

    • Second the long remark. Very round bowls might be a problem (outside the usual problem - dick touching the bowl)

    • Hmm…my bowl has 400mm between the securing hole to the front of the bowl whilst the spec says it should be 450-500mm. Do you reckon the seat will not fit?

      • Yeah I'm curious to know.

    • I know what you mean, this is how I did my.

If it is only for hygiene, then you would be better of with hand spray hose https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-chrome-brass-handspray_p…

    • +1

Female members of my family mentioned the heated water in winter is God send

  • Telstra Compatibility? Dual SIM would be handy also;)

    • What about camera with 4K recording.

      • It has that

  • -1

Hygienic fresh water, prevent from bacteria breeding

Ah yes, water, the well known anti-bacterial agent.

  • Must plug into power outlet, obviously?

  • -2

Uses recycle water from same connection as flush, how can that water be hygienic? Does this system adds any anti bacterial agents?

    • +2

It uses the water, before it goes into the cistern, so it's the same water you shower with and presumably you wash your butt in the shower.
There's also a small cotton filter thing as part of the attachment I believe.

    • If your toilet uses recycled water then any bidet is not suitable for you.

      • I believe recycle water is used for toilet flush connections everywhere. Isn’t it ?

  • Really wanted one of these but I have a new toilet and the plumbing sits inside the cistern so can't attach it :(

    • If your sink is close enough you can attach it to that instead.

    • You you are stuck then. Old toilets got the mini tap exposed. We had a renovation and got new toilets where it sits inside as well but I demanded an extension outside inner wall for bidet

  • Sigh, just after I ordered the other one.

  • For all the portly gentlemen out there, is there a weight limit?

    • Oh yes, I didn't think about this, I would also like to know the answer to this.

    • I can let you know next week. I'm more concerned about size of it.

      I'm over 100

    • +1

I tend to recall it said 120 kg.

Unless I'm thinking of the limit in my Tinder profile.

      • Oh man I'm close enough to that to be concerned.

Don't they realise how tubby westerners are?

        • +1

I find I lose weight every time I use it, so let warranty cover you until you're under 120 kg.

    • It is a rather lightweight plastic. It feels sturdy, BUT it does seem a little longer than many seats, so the overhang with the added with could be a problem.

  • its funny cuz Mijar means PISS in Portuguese! :P

  • +1

Now chinese spies can count my bowel movements!

  • "As you sit down, the inserted sensor senses the user"

Yikes! A butt probe disguised as a luxurious loo seat? What kind of chinese alien conspiracy bulls&!t is op promoting here?! No thanks! :-)

Maybe we need a @tightarse: deal on this all American made beauty… at least it's got smart security features… https://youtu.be/DJklHwoYgBQ

  • +1

Just bought one as I missed out from the previius deals.
To the owners in the forum, is it possible to turn the seat warmer off fully? Say like in summer as its already hot enough. I can't really see it mentioned in the manual linked above.

    • +1 for this, I don't want a seat warmer costing me electricity.

    • +1

Haven't tried it, but it looks to have a dedicated button for heated seat, so I'm guessing it can be toggled on and off.

      • My missus is 1000000% going to leave this on for weeks at a time.

        • I am pretty sure it only heats once the sensor detects you sitting on it. I think I saw someone in the previous thread asking if there was a way to pre-heat it without sitting down on it.
