Thanks TA, but I think all these codes are unique and will bring up the persons name/account when scanned. Also if someone uses it then no one else will be able to use it for the rest of the day.

ahh nice scam… give people the barcode via image sent to their phone telling them it will give them the bonus item… omitting the fact that you get the points
Looks like they're substituting cheesy pita if you can't get meatballs if they are running short.
Nice little bonus, you get the points for the extra item.
It shows up on receipt as value ie $6, then a 2nd line item which states Comp and negative the same amount
Bad programming by Nandos I guess, since the "complimentry" doesnt remove the points
