Thanks OP. I've used Monsac for a few years now and it's always been great, just never pay full price.
I bought MONSAC Comet 4W Large Roller Case - Charcoal 80cm 3.1kg from Myer.
It is quite light at that size compare with others the same size I have.
If you have Coles/Myer Gift cards that need to be used and price match does not happen due to cost price, you can ask the team member for an iPad order as that will process an online order. Just make sure that you ask to pay at POS and double check the price at checkout.
How long is the warranty for these? Are they as good as Antler or Samsonite?
I was told a couple of years ago that Monsac was made by Antler and just rebranded. Not sure if thats still the case? I've had 3 for about 4 years, travelling non-stop and I've only had one issue with one of them. I think they're great value!
Picked up my new bag earlier today and the 70% off is in store as well. $80 for 5 years of bag (warranty period), can't go wrong.
These are quite heavy for carry ons at 2.7kg (but perhaps reasonable for clamshell) - samsonite (soft) 72 hours is 1.5kg.
