  • not a bad deal if you don't use off peak at all, plus the unmetered content is always a plus

  • Just to let you know of something(not gonna neg though)
I am on the Optus $129 Fusion Plan(1TB data + free calls(exc. international)
I got the $129 plan for $99 and I also have the 'speedpack' and additional $15, which reaches speeds @ speedtest.net (and the likes) of 100Mbits/sec
so all up $99+$15=$114 for 1TB and phone line

    however

Adam never let me down, no drop out or downtime

occurs at optus, dropouts, ultra slow due to congestion(because people are mass d/ling->like me), this happened to me a month ago, but i am fine now

    and also

500GB/1Tb is hard to use up(i have done it before with my 1TB), if you have 18mbit/sec connection
the way i do it is leave the computer overnight to download torrents,of course it's legal ;), because i don't have usenet :(

  • I wouldn't say their customer service is top notch. Been on hold for 30 minutes and gave up, was positioned 12th. If you read Whirlpool, adam is really dropping the ball on help desk service.

They use to be the 5 minute help desk group, not anymore

  • +1

Their customer service is beyond appalling. We are talking Dodo Internet levels of appalling customer service, here. Would never in a million years recommend anyone to this now pathetic but once quality ISP. The companies excuses from it's rep's have been nothing short of laughable, including claims that the QLD floods somehow led to their call center & staffing levels being severely effected - a feat quite impressive since their entire operations & business are based in Adelaide. You only need to have a brief read over here to see the nightmare you'd be walking in to by joining these clowns: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1582761&p…

  • prepare to be on hold for 30 mins plus if you ever call them… i've been with them for 4 plus years but im about to change over after my plan ends.. i had no contract with them till they brought out there new ezychoice plan and i decided to try it out and then decided to lock me in for another 12 months. i had to even lodge a ombusman complaint because they screwed me with my speed… i was getting 7mb for ages and then all of a sudden my speed dropped to 3mb.. after the ombusman complaint the speed was fixed..

  • I have checked out the offerings.
    The pricing is meh…..
also be aware of the download policy

2 AdamEzyChoice monthly data is downloads only and upload data is bound by the Adam Internet Acceptable Use Policy. AdamSuperChoice monthly data is calculated by adding your download and upload usage together. Data is counted towards your Peak quota during the hours of 9am until 1am and towards your Off-Peak during the hours of 1am until 9am. Once you have reached your monthly data (by reaching you Peak, Off-Peak or Monthly Data limit), your service will be shaped to 128/128kbps until your next billing month.

  • Dont use ADAM. I was with IINET before and moved to ADAM 3 weeks ago, since then its been pain. Yes its an Australian call center, but be prepared to wait for 45mins at least. I had to ring them 4 times and the best I got 45mins. They sing me for a 24 month contract and gave me a free VOIP modem and it has not worked at my place. They cant swap my modem to another one. The naked deal $60 ($10 for the VOIP phone) Im still using my old DLINK modem and looks like I have to stay like that, and still I have to pay $60 even if I dont want VOIP.

ADSL speeds been good since I moved to ADAM

    Please be careful :)
