Was looking around for some AirPods and found Umart has stock in multiple places around Australia for pick up and delivery. They are currently on sale for $195 so I thought I'd take a chance and request price beat at Officeworks and managed to get it by simply telling them about the Umart sale. The final price was $185.25 which seems to be close to the prices I've seen from SydneyTec recently.

i came to HN to price match with Umart in june but they said umart is not sell local stock Apple airpods. i didn’t believe them so I contact Umart and they told me they imported stock from overseas, the airpods is not local.
I actually got it price matched the other day at Officeworks @ $199, they would pricematch Umart but add $10 postage, ended up pricematching Highly Tuned Athletes who had free postage

The spiel is similar on Umart which is why all the Officeworks I went to did not price beat. I guess you got lucky!
Must have, didn't even need to try to be honest. All I did was ask at the counter if they could price match against Umart and they checked on the website themselves and had no problem. Umart did say they were in stock in multiple places in Australia via the website which I guess must have helped.
If you happen to be member of Good Guys Commercial website, they are $181 each. Professional Australia members currently have access to website. This is cheapest currently I have seen.

Well, I managed to get a pair of Airpods as I mentioned but went back just now to log in and got this response "The username you have attempted to sign in with is disabled, please contact your Administrator for further assistance.".

OW in the Sydney CBD price matched with no problem! They said "umart should be fine, some other websites aren't"

There was no stock available in Melbourne when I got it price matched. It said "1-2 days" so I think it's not needed.
OW in Brisbane CBD just price matched my pair for $185.25 :) (I don't think they even checked the Umart page I showed)

Must report that was unable to get 3 out of 4 officeworks in ACT to price beat Umart. Could not find anywhere on site that explicitly states "covered under manufacturer's warranty".
