I only buy UHT milk. At the beginning it tasted a bit strange, but after a short while I just didn't notice. The convenience of always having milk on hand and being able to stock up when it's on special outweighs the small taste difference for me.
UHT is ultra-heat treatment (according to wikipedia).
Do note that the heat denatures proteins in the milk due to its uber high temperature.Huh, there you go.
If you make yogurt at home, this is ideal for that, as the milk needs to be heat treated - denatures proteins - for it to work successfully.

It is the same milk which you get in little containers in hotels and on planes to add to your coffee.
99 cents @ Aldi for UHT so its pretty good for those (are there any?) that use UHT milk.
Real, fresh milk only costs 1 cent more!
do you have a link as I can't find any Harvey Fresh Milk specials on that site for 88c
