Some are cheaper ($1.99), some are still the regular price ($6.99).

Just rented Isle of Dogs for $1.99 and Shape of Water for $1.99, thanks for the tip :)

    • +1 on Isle of Dogs. Also got Pac Rim Uprising (for my son…honestly).

Didn't notice Shape of Water…I'll look for it too!

I like to support my local video store (yep…still have one), but this is pretty good, especially for the convenience. Wonder what the occasion is!

Cheap charts had like 130 price drops yesterday for purchases (assume this has seen some rentals come down too).

Note worthy would be Avengers 3 pack to buy Including Avengers / Avengers Age of Ultron/ Avengers Infinity war $39.99

    • Is that 4K?
      Man I need a 4K Apple TV…

I do hope this is a permanent drop. 6.99 is heavy. 2.99 is reasonable.
    That also includes 4K !

    • Kodi is great value too.

Can i do buy one get 3 free?

  • Do you give any discounts?

  • Hopefully Google play store matches. At that price I'd be more inclined to watch movies online.

  • Thanks, nice one. Isle of Dogs, Shape of Water and Death of Stalin rented.

    Any other recommendations?

Isle of Dogs is a terrible movie, I don't get why it's so highly rated. It's very disjointed and the way that some characters speak in Japanese while others in English and have a translator character narrate some parts is distracting and unnecessary.

Shape of Water is also a bit overrated as Best Movie. Some nice visual effects but really it's just Abe from Hellboy. Storyline is decent but there's some truly bizarre scenes in there that could have been left out.

That which you call ‘distracting’ and ‘unnecessary’ is simply a style choice. Wes Anderson movies are very stylistically different to any other movie. You may not like it but I found it to be incredibly unique, creative and charming.

It's called an opinion. Just as you're entitled to yours, I am to mine.

        • +2

Chill, nowhere did I suggest your opinion was wrong.

          Also, I didn’t neg you. I wouldn’t neg someone’s opinion.

Some other cheapies (no comment on movie quality):
    Justice League
    Pitch Perfect 3
    Isle of Dogs
    Rampage
    Red Sparrow
    The Shape of Water
    The Greatest Showman
    Pacific Rim Uprising
    Ready Player One

Some Star Wars Movies are $0.99:
    The Phantom Menace
    Revenge of the Sith
    Attack of the Clones

    • +1

      Phantom menace should be free

      • It's a menace alright

      • Or they should pay you to watch it?

I think this promotion is meant to start tomorrow and end on Sunday. It’s being advertised here and also includes Fetch, Foxtel, Google Play and Microsoft.

      Nooo!
Might rent a few and watch later..

      From Apple
“After you start watching the movie, you have 48 hours to finish it. You can watch the movie as often as you like until it expires. If you don't start watching a movie within 30 days, you must rent it again. Movies you rent automatically delete from your library when the rental period ends.”
