  • I can barely read that screen without squinting, and that's their promotional image?

  • aits a cheap way to get a speedo without having to mount sensors as it’s gps. it’s is about 5 years old now and more gps based units are on the market but this is cheap.

many people now use an old mobile phone and that does a lot more, and for hr there is a lot of wearable ones but this deal is only $55 so it’s cheap for a gps speedo.

  • Thanks got one

I got one also, seems limited to 1 per customer ….cheap gps speedo so no need for sensor cables and comes with HR if you happy to strap it on.

      • Do you like it with a strap on?

  • +2

Doesn't look compatible with Android/iOS for automatic syncing with Strava

    • no strava support no deal…

This is the ant+ version so no bluetooth. Attach to pc or mac and it interfaces to strava. The bluetooth version is $105 …that interfaces to phone but $105 its dated display wise and functions. Eg use phone and buy heart rate sensor and cadence and a good phone case is better fot $105.

      • Attach to pc or mac and it interfaces to strava

ahh …ok. so you just upload via desktop….for $50 then this is a pretty cheap setup and worth grabbing?
…i find my phone loses gps signal sometimes so this could be a good alternative? also i presently dont have cadence or hr…

        • Never used it before, but for the same price, the BRYTON Rider One looks like it has a lot more features:

yeah, it's because of the ant+ …ant+ has been around for a long time and hence older devices and sensors are ant+ (besides some nice features Bluetooth doesn't support) ….. phones are Bluetooth not ant+, so there is a bit of an interoperability gap, hence use PC to get data of devices and upload.

more stuff is going Bluetooth, or supporting both Bluetooth and ant+, hence $50 on this deal as its ant+ only.

time will come when you can wear a watch for the HR and have your phone as a display on handle bars and it also picks up cadence …at an affordable price, but not yet.

        • @garage sale: thanks mate…ive always just used my old iphone and never had reason to look at a stand alone device. thinking about it…
is there anything even remotely comparable (GPS speed & elev, HR, Cadence) at this price…?

  • almost tempted…how easy is it to return to jb if item isnt suitable/compatible?

  • Thanks Op, this is an amazing deal, i installed it on my bike today, and suprise, all sensors, HRM cadence and speed, all work with my Garmin Fenix 3

  • after doing a bit of research ive grabbed this and am expecting delivery today :P

…has anyone found a cheap & good quality out front mount for this or any other accessories such as spare mounts for using on a 2nd bike?
    eg. http://www.magellangps.com.au/Products/Accessories/Accessory…
but from aliexpress or ebay etc…?

…update: this is available again and in stock as at 17.8.18.
..bought a 2nd for bike no.2 ….worth it for the hr speedo and cadence sensors alone ;)
