Appears to be stock at quite a lot of stores around the country. Same board is $8.90 at Bunnings so you can pricebeat for $4.41.
Enjoy :)

Agreed. I have one of these from way back and you do have to give it a fair bit of wiggle force to get the prongs in (the rotating cover on each socket works fine). Still think its a good board but maybe not suitable for grandparents or others with weaker grip/strength.
I hate the feeling of needing to force it in the prongs, having to wiggle it around and push really hard. Screams cheap to me.
Maybe that is one of the 'child-safe' features, so kids can't pull the plug out exposing the outlets?
I swear i have i have a million powerboards in my house and I still find that I need more constantly…
Used to have this issue and thought about it a bit:
Much fewer power boards in the kitchen as we replaced the 2x powerpoints with 4x powerpoints and we've never needed to use a powerboard in the kitchen since
swapped a bunch of 4x powerboards for 6x or 8x and that's also reduced a lot of the usage
I find we're now using powerboards
- TV - just to deal with all the peripherals - again a 8x board makes a large difference
- bedside - just for lamps, chargers and so on as its more convenient to reach than the wall points
- study - computer, printer and so on
Not really anywhere else..
True! And half the time I only need 3 but double adapters are horrible :(
Bloody NoNBN needs a modem, router and phone.
TV unit needs TV, sound, foxtel.
Bedside table has 2 chargers and a lamp.
The office is a different story! 8 for one computer (I say bring back PSUs with monitor power outlets! And start putting them in monitors too!), 8 for test gear, 8 for server/switch/chargers/etc. Still not enough but I only have 2 outlets in this room!
Cheers! Didn't want to cop from Spotlight due to $8.99 postage, but since Bunnings have it, now I can cop.
Not sure if Bunnings will match it as it is marked as Clearance.
It depends on the checkout team member, not a particular store.
I was lucky, I have been to 2 bunnings, both rejected. Same as all the eBay Plus deals, no deals means money saved.
spotlight recently sent their spam mail out which contained an "instant scratch it" with various discounts incl 20% off, $5 off etc. i got $5 off - looks like i can get this for free :) if you receive the spam mail might be worth checking
Had one, dont thik the red led/surge protection lasted that long. I suspect the surge protection was burnt out ages ago
150J surge protection
not that the protection as that great either.
You're looking at a cord length of 900mm here.
Bunnings won't price beat if it's clearance.
Bought 2 this afternoon price matched at bunnings.
They are on clearance. Sometime Bunnings dont honours.. all the best. I was lucky
Put 11 in cart (above $50), sign in, put in the code SPAUPDATE to have $10 off your order.
That was what I did successfully.
Need sign-in?
But….. why do you need 11 powerboards….
Xmas gift
LOL! That'd be one way to say "I'm obliged to get you a present because [reasons] but I don't like you."
I dont buy this brand as some holes are too loose or too tight. I saw spark inside many times. Now I got rid of all these brand in my house. Full stop.
My belkin one has always sparked a bit when I plug things in if the switch is on. I thought that was normal!
Nice description, makes it sound unsafe for adults!
Let us amp you up with the HPM 4 Outlet Surge Protected Child-Safe Powerboard!
I like my power boards to be child-unsafe.
Paint them to look like lollipops.
Confirmed: price-matched at Bunnings (Randwick NSW). Excellent deal! Nothing better on eBay either. Bought two actually. Fortunately there is a Spotlight store pretty close by, in Bondi Jct, so no question about shipping charges.
And for those wondering, the child safety feature is that each outlet has a springy thing that closes it from the inside when you pull the plug. As a parent of a toddler, that is quite a deal maker.
Call me paranoid but I don't like powerboards without individual switches.
Sure if the whole board can be switched off and on before plugging then it is alright like I have for some powerboards but when it has many separate individual appliances I prefer the individuality and ability to turn certain ports on and off individually.
Like some of have said have seen many boards spark and generally feels like there is small risk of damage and danger when plugging in and hot swapping live but to each their own I suppose.. some people love the thrill of life and the thrill of danger haha lol.
paranoid
Thanks OP I'll look out for these.
Bunnings Minchinburry refused price match :/
Bunnings dropped their price on these! Cheaper by a whole lot 5c >..<
That's good information. Thanks.
Up this vote guys!!!
OP update please
Be careful you can't say that anymore. I didn't realise & got sent to the penalty box for a week.
What can't you say?
Thanks! There's was move at my spotlight and Bunnings previously refused to price match :)
Great price, cheers TA!!
Just one thing about this power board though - it seems a bit tight fitting in all the plugs? (for want of a better word?)
