  • How is the Fujitsu’s aircon?

    • +2

From personal experience, I find Fujitsu aircon good. Got two units that are 10-12 years old and are still going strong.

    • +1

I only had these units for 1 year and it's going strong. I have 3 units, one for each bedroom. No problem so far.

  • I have 3 units, 2 is 6yo and the other 3yo. Still going strong and quite units. I hate aircon that i can hear the indoor and outdoor fans blowing. Really recommend this especially at this price. I paid $900 back then.

  • How much can I expect to pay, roughly, for installation? I’m in Melb metro and I have a brick veneer single storey house.

    • +1

You are looking at $600 to $800 for installation in melb for this size aircon, standard back to back installation. If you decide to mount the outdoor unit then additional charges for brackets would be between $60 to $120 instead of leaving it on the ground

      • +1

I paid $1250 last year to mount one 5kw and one 3.5kw unit (both back to back install) with the outer units mounted on the wall. Sparky charged me $80 to put an extra circuit breaker for 5kw one.

  • How much would I expect to pay for install of a 7kw unit in melb metro ? I didn’t know the price changes according to size hmm seems I need to do some more research 😩 better get on or my house will be roasting come summer as we currently have nothing . Any tips appreciated!
