There will be no carbon tax under a government I lead.

What is wrong with carbon tax?

      • +1

Paying more money, that’s what’s wrong.

      • It would be quicker to answer what is good about a carbon tax.

        • +3

Not expert on carbon tax in particular, but the polluters should be charged more. Cleaner energy should be cheaper. Does carbox tax achive that? Not sure.

@AllWins: Even if climate change is fake, air pollution and its impact on health is real.

It affects air quality, water quality, makes cities look like crap - just check out India and China. Cutting down reliance on dirty sources of energy that produce carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide through the carbon tax helps prevent that.

@AllWins: I trust your descendents, both present & future will share your sentiments when they go swimming at Kosciuszko Beach ;)

          P.S. Don't forget your SPF 1,000+ sun lotion :O

        • @pizzaofpeace: Except we cut it down and pay more money for energy then ship the cheaper polluting resources to Indian and China so they have cheap energy and keep polluting the world..?
