Go with the 6 pro. It comes with Oreo, so in theory, it's got Project Treble on board. It also supports more bands. Better for travelling.
The Redmi Note 5 (AI) came out with Oreo so it supports Project Treble.

Think we need some great Nokia & plus deals, all australian bands, NFC, Android One , I have 3 Xiaomi phones now in the spares box and the cheapies always seem to lack something, either our bands, or NFC, etc.
some of the grey nokia 7 plus got down to $350 in a couple of the previous deals, but we seem to mainly see Xiaomi deals, might be supply and demand issue.
I would totally go for a Nokia 6.1, but I really can't live without an IR blaster. That has saved my skin at work and while travelling overseas.
