[NT] 10% off Select Uluru (Ayers Rock) Accommodation via Voyages @ Sails in the Desert, Outback Pioneer, Ayers Rock Campground e

CLUB

I was looking for discount codes for tours etc and found an accomodation discount instead.

Get 10% off accomodation at a number of the Ayers Rock Resort properties including:

  • Sails in the Desert Hotel
  • Desert Gardens Hotel
  • Emu Walk Apartments
  • Outback Pioneer Lodge and Hotel

There are also details on how to contact staff to book the Ayers Rock Campground. I don't know if they give you a discount on mentioning the CLUB code. But prices there can be low; from $43 for a non powered site, $50 for a powered one and $179 for a cabin.

(The Outback Pioneer Lodge Dormitory accomodation can be cheaper again and accepts the CLUB code)

I compared Voyages (seems to be direct booking) with Agoda, and found 10% off applied. I also found a few more properties on Voyages than Agoda had.
eg 18 - 21 Oct, Emu Walk Apartments

  • Agoda says $410 a night (though 5% cashback via Cashrewards)
  • Voyages, with the CLUB code in says from $369 (no cashback)

So it's 10% off up front or 5% off after Cashrewards difference

On reading closer, Agoda's room has capacity of 2 adults and 1 child. The Voyages $369 room is a 4 adult capacity, so, there may be bigger savings.

The code looks to be generic on signing up for the newsletter.
(Find "Receive News & Exclusive Offers" at the bottom of this and other pages there https://www.voyages.com.au/locations/ayers-rock-resort)
The email gives you a link to this page which has links to Uluru accomodation, Home Valley (WA) accomodation and Mossman Gorge tours (Qld)

Tested Briefly: I did a quick comparison against an accomodation website. Where both had the same room, the discount was real.

Voyages will take full payment immediately. I'm not sure of the cancellation terms. (If you cancel too close to your stay though, I think you lose most or all of the booking)

Wishing everyone a nice time up around Uluru.

  • Any bargains?

  • Thanks for your work foundit. Did you find anything more budget friendly? Or is $369 it?

    • As others said, there is limited accommodation so it's good to book early, possibly at the same time as you are lining up your flight (or arranging your flight around the accommodation).

The Ayers Rock Camping Ground has non powered sites from $43 and cabins from $179.

The Outback Pioneer Lodge has beds in the dormitories from $38+, rooms with shared bathrooms are around $230+. (Remember to use the CLUB code to get it for cheaper)

The Lost Camel is refurbished staff accommodation. Trip Advisor will give you an idea of potential problems with facilities and room design. Rooms are around $260+ with the CLUB code in use.

Fairly sure u can’t book the campground or campground cabins with this code.

    • Thanks; I'll update that in the OP now.

  • They always offer 10% off once you register on their website, same promotion code has been there for years.

The problem is there are limited number of rooms in the resort, sometimes you have to book well in advance in order to secure a room plus enjoy 10% off price.

This is to let other first timers, people like myself, know that it's worth attempting a direct book for a discount, instead of using an intermediary only.
