      Won't neg you, but harsh! Somehow reading the post title I myself initially assumed "Yarra Valley Water" was an aussie bottled water company looking to crack the market with givaways ;)

      But then, we Qld'ers aren't always the sharpest tools in the, um, place where tools get kept.

        I'd add that it'd be nice if these quasi-private utilities would give up all the promotional expenses and just deliver the relevant utility at the lowest sustainable price. Until then, go get your freebie.

  the problem with this deal is that for most people, it can only be picked up at your local council between 8:30am and 5pm on a monday to friday, so if you work, you can't get one… :(

    You can assume so. You have to show your bill (showing where you live and that you are a customer of theirs). There is not much promotional value for Yarra Valley to give this to customers serviced by their competitors.

  I'd say you'll be lucky to pick one up. I received my bill Wed last week and when I picked it up from Nunawading on Thurs they said they expected to be out by the end of the day!?

  title should say VIC ONLY.

  i too thought that Yarra Valley Water was a company name, not just a locality.

  plus vote for posting a good deal, but if a deal is in one state only it should be noted.
