Logitech M720 Triathlon Wireless Mouse $49 @ JB Hi-Fi

240

Was looking at this just a few days ago. JB had it for $79 and the cheapest I could find was $59. Now at $49 I believe it's a good deal.

Also $49 at Amazon although stock appears limited at time of writing. Thanks to AussieGargain.

Good Guys had them for $20 a while back…

Most people got refunds though as it was not honoured / or out of stock in their store but a select few got lucky.

That said, this is an older mouse but still supports Logitech Flow, and unlike the MX Anywhere 2s, it actually has a click-able scroll wheel. Judging by the past comments, some people thought the 'push down to engage frictionless mode' on the scrollwheel was a deal breaker.

      • Looks like they also got a bonus $20 credit as well as the refund…

      • What is the benefit of the MX anywhere 2s? So it can be used on glass?
At this price, this mouse seems too good to pass on as couldn't decide between the 2!

Anywhere 2s has a non-removable LiPo battery (Battery life: up to 70 days on a single full charge*) and uses Darkfield tracking. DPI settings range from 200 to 4000 dpi (you can change in increments of 50 dpi)

The M720: It uses 1 AA battery but it can go up to 24 months (claimed by Logitech), has an optical sensor with a fixed DPI of 1000 that doesn't seem to be adjustable.

So the sensor is about the only thing that's inferior to the Anywhere 2s, and it's more suitable for a desktop than a laptop as there are some surfaces (like smooth white tables and glasstops) that won't track very well.

      • …another big plus with the M720 is the button to switch devices is on top unlike the MX models which have it underneath the mouse, so it's just easier to switch especially when using Logitech Flow and it occasionally bugs out.

      • The Anywhere 2S is my daily work mouse and I love the frictionless mode, you can program one of the other spare buttons to middle mouse.

I can't see myself using this in the swim leg.

    • lol, you need to remember to remove the batteries.

    • OW 10% price beat?

      • How do you get 10% price beat at OW?

        • Sorry must be thinking about Bunnings when I replied! I meant 5%

    • Thanks. Seems to be limited stock but have added to post as an alternative.

  • Just in time to replace my dead mouse! I suppose that past eofy all the sales are slowing down

Well worth the money, great mouse!

  • Have this exact mouse at the office. Great little workhorse as you would expect from Logitech. The button to change the scrolling style (3 lines at a time or continuous) is really useful for long documents. The blue-tooth functionality is good too however, I don't have much use for it.

  • Hope there’s a deal for the mx2 soon
