Stay away from that brand (and retailer). Purchased a Kettle that was $150 reduced to $49.95 and it lasted 4 weeks until the lid was rusted and didn't boil properly.

      That's Hardly Normal! :)

    • How did you go returning it for a full refund?

      • They would only swap for another Kettle so I just got a different brand. I couldn't be bothered arguing that day.

I thought it was an egg incubator at first glance.

if you can control the temp then i dont see why it cant be one

      • Yep, leave it on at a very low heat setting for 21 days and they will turn into chicks. Then one must ask which came first, chicken or the eggs?

        • -2

Will they turn into chicks? Depends on if they are fertilized eggs or unfertilized eggs. Eggs bought from a supermarket are most likely to be unfertilized.

Ahh a kitchen necessity! Who would boil and egg without this, right?
    oh wait everyone - nevermind…

  • Thanks for posting. Bought one. Good price!

  • This look like eggs incubator

  • Thanks OP: just purchased one.

Its never wise to cook all your eggs in one basket. lol

  • Didn’t expect much of this for the asking price, certainly wouldn’t look at it for $49.

Instructions are absolute rubbish but performance of the product seems good.

First lot of poached eggs were great!

Found this deal on Hardleys when I was looking for something else, but thanks op for the post.

  • Sorry for the stupid question but does this do boiled eggs and or how long does it take to cook for each setting and how much energy is used for each mode?

Poach or cook soft, medium and hard eggs simply by adjusting the dial.

I saw this and just wanted to confirm that they mean boiled or is there another kind of egg that it makes?

    Nice simple kitchen feature imho.
