just thinking about it hurts so much already.
Nope, you don't get splinters. I've been using a similar brush for over a year now and it's always been smooth. Considering that you nearly have to mortgage your house to buy a decent toothbrush at the grocery store it's nice to see that these are not really expensive, and I find they do a very good job. When I'm done, I can chuck it into the compost bin and it will break down. (Note that the bristles will likely be made of nylon, in which case they won't be 100% biodegradable. But it's still a damn sight better than all plastic.)
I put my plastic toothbrushes in the yellow bin for recycling.
Nobody wants to reuse your toothbrushes.
@Scab: I do.
Thanks for letting us know.
Equates to aprox 3.38 each
Found similar on eBay for 1.75 each shipped and you don't have to buy bulk.
Packaging and branding is the difference here
Eco friendly bamboo toothbrushes
Yes, because everywhere I go I see discarded toothbrushes that kill native and marine animals.

It's more about how they're made of plastic and usually chucked in general waste and end up degrading in landfill over hundreds of years. Whereas the bamboo ones are biodegradable.
No deal here, moving on.
Polluter!
Please link better value bamboo toothbrushes?
I'm all for better environment etc, but not so sure at the expense of my bamboo toothbrushes going mouldy on me…
It's still $40 of toothbrushes with a crap 10% discount. And probably rebranded at twice the price to begin with.
This is ozbargain. You're kidding yourselves.
These are medium, and only soft bristles should be used, no matter who you are.
That's what every Dentist i have ever been to has told me, and they should know, even though you can't see their face.Given plastic works fine, i don't see the deal at all.
No one sane is going to buy this crap.
Correct. Anything harder than soft can damage teeth and gums.

Splinters. Ouch.
