I had quite the night out in Budapest, til the small hours. Beautiful place as well.
Stick to unicum :D
Agreed…. Beautiful city, I was there last month. Very inexpensive by European standards owning to its status as the 6th poorest country in the EU.
As a quick point of comparrison, a happy meal in Budapest is around AUD$2.50! Grab a cold beer from the supermarket and drink it on the banks of the Danube 60 cents.
Summer in Budapest. Highly recommended.
I don't speak the language but I was able to take the metro. Very easy to understand. Trains are clean & runs on time.
Now I wonder why can't Sydney trains can't get their trains clean and run on time while a lot of European cities with metros that are hundred of years OLDER than Sydney.
Sold out? Can't see it anymore.
Hmm, not on FlightScout but when you go through to skyscanner it's still there: https://www.skyscanner.com.au/transport/flights/mela/bud/181…
any reviews about Air China?
They arent terrible… Get Air NZ codeshare if you can, good value. Air China have pretty plasticy food in Y… Quite bland.
Good place to travel with young kids ?
Good place to travel with young kids ?
I wouldn't recommend taking kids.
Budapest, Hungary - as opposed to which other Budapest?
Budapest, Georgia, United States
Budapest, Missouri, United States
?
US exactly. Must be just me who gets annoyed by Americans saying "I'm having a vacation in Paris, France." as if we might think they meant Paris, Texas.
NOTE: Can also find flights EX BNE and SYD for $820 with Air China. Very selected dates in Oct and Nov.
Nice city, Budapest.
Warning: DON'T DRINK Hungarian-made beer. Czech or German is preferred (by the locals).
