What's with all these 10% sitewide happening lately? Is it because EOFY????

I'm currently short on cash to buy anything :(

    Find me a deal! 14" laptop under $1000, 8th Gen Core i5 / i7, 8GB+ RAM

    Thanks! :)

  • Does anyone know if theres actually a limit of $2000 for gift cards per day/transaction?

What size ebay gift cards are available at woolies stores?

    What are the limitations?

The TV i want is $2214 after 10% right now.
Would jt be possible to buy it completely with woolies 5% ebay gift cards?
Also would i get 1% cash rewards in ebay as well?

    • I remember u can only use 10 ebay GC in one transaction and I believe $100 is the biggest amount of GC
If so, u will save extra $50
And dont think will get cashrewards from GC

      • Thanks for the info.
If anyone can confirm the above. That would be great.

        • I can confirm max is 15 gift cards. I had $100 gift cards so could use $1500. This is in one transaction. Largest at Woolworths you can get is $100 eBay card. Note that there are $200 eGift cards available on eBay but you can’t buy them with your eBay gift cards.

        • @BargainGeeks:

          Thank you

  • One final question hopefully.

Are Ebay gift cards stackable with cashrewards?

This 1% will make or break this purchase :0

  • This year we are truly broke from this random ebay thing…. now gonna worry about what don't need to buy but worth buying.

  • 2.5 hours in, and so far only 4 deals found from this "punchy" offer.

Seems like everyone has had their dose of bargain :)

  • I actually want to buy a luggage from Ebay, but the code does not work for "Travel". Very annoying.

  • Cash Rewards eBay cashback should be 10% too :p

    • Don't you mean 1% - or is that a subtle hint to TA ;)

    • same problem here

    • Same :S

    • NO!!!!!! ONLY 2 ITEM LEFT!!!!!!!

fak that I just paid with pull5

PUNCHY doesn't seem to be working "we ran into a problem. Please try again later"

    • Same..

anyone getting this error when applying the code at check out? "We ran into a problem. Please try again later."

    • yep, hopefully the code is still active :(

    • I get the same error regardless of PUNCHY or PULL5. I do notice that an incorrect code still gives you the incorrect code message so this looks like a sham to me because the error only comes up with a valid code.

      • You also get "This code has expired" if you put in PLUS15, so there may just be an error somewhere.

    • you might want to change your account address back to australia if you changed it to USA for the 20% deal

This is targeted code so it should be updated on the posting. Thank You.

  • "We ran into a problem. Please try again later." here too.

  • Dammit.. i needed to actually buy something

  • I think this started for all members but it was changed to targeted. It was listed in my vouchers in summary this morning but now its gone and i get the "We ran into a problem" issue.

    • Heaps of sellers have added the code to their listing pictures, you wouldn't think it would be targeted when they do that.

  • We ran into a problem. Please try again later. 😡😡😡

  • we ran into a problem…

    • Me too :(

      • me too :(

  • Houston, is that you?

So annoying, where it showed the discount saving in each listing said I had until the 30th… Then I shop for hours only to find it's vanished.. Not nice, eBay! Please feel welcome to make it up to us with 15% or 20% off and all will definitely be forgiven :)

  • Surely we will see 20% off ebay US when it's Mother's Day, otherwise by today's standards it would be discriminatory and sexist, shame it's approx 10 months away though. Hopefully get a 15%er at least soon.

    • +1

when that happens ebay will be collecting GST though

      • yeap

so from 1/7 after 10% deduction

        20% = 10%
        15% = 5%

        • You may be right…

          Depending on what point GST is levied. e.g $100 - $20 = $80 + 10% =$88, so 20% now = 12 % later.

          OTOH $100 + $10 = $110 - $20 [I doubt they will apply any discount to the tax] =$90 =10% later:-/

Maybe some accountants could let us know how this will work. We'd pay GST on the discounted amount if it was a "bricks and mortar" buy in Australia, but given the mean and tricky nature of the unmentionables who brought us the hardly normal tax…

  • Super annoying. I had clicked through past commit to buy when PUNCHY failed. Thankfully PULL5 worked!

  • Gotta be quick for some of these and they can be so random. How do normal people (non-ozbargainers) discover them?

    • +1

      email.

They usually aren't secret about when they end. It's often midnight, or they say it runs for 4 hours.

When they don't tell you how long they go for, that's when you miss out thinking you can buy later, or taking too long to decide what to buy.
