        Um……no.
Bunnings don’t price match other Bunnings unless you get very lucky.

But good news, these have been deleted so these cable ties come up on the system as $15.

Yes all Bunnings are supposed to match any price that another store has if a store in Perth
Ha s an item of clearance for 10 buck and a store I go in to in Melbourne has it for $50
Providing I have a pick or receipt then the store must match that price I was told today by head office in hawthorn

        • -1

Oh and btw Bunnings beat eBay price on the same item
And I even get Bunnings to beat is prices too

        • @Dex38313:
That’s incredibly interesting as it is no where near our policy.

        • -1

price matching other Bunnings is store policy
And the bit about eBay has been advertised for over a decade

        • +1

          @Dex38313:
Actually no, it isn’t. You are most welcome to come work alongside me since you seem to think that you know it all.

        • -1

I only no what iv learnt by shopping at Bunnings and speaking to head office in hawthorn iv never had a problem getting a Bunnings store to beat an eBay price
All stores I shop at match other stores prices providing I have a pic or receipt of the same item and the discounted price and iv even had Bunnings beat an overseas store iif same item and delivery price is factored in too

        • @Dex38313:

you're lucky then as I've hardly had success with Bunnings price matching another store's clearance price. And this is with plenty of Bunnings stores too. Each time I've tried they said they don't have to price match clearance prices as its set by the manager for that particular store only.

this guy….! ive already tried to explain to him that bunnings arent obligated to price match clearance prices…dont bother trying to convince him otherwise because he spoke to somebody in hawthorn head office and they told him blahblahblah …. :P

    • +1

Yes it is as these have been deleted from the range. The register will scan them as $15.

      • Great news fiza1981, thanks for letting us know

They're even 'Narva' which is an excellent brand, not cheap asian market stuff…

    Well spotted OP..

Edit: Just realised the 1000 pack is mixed, presumed they were all same size with different packs available.. Even better…!!

    • +2

Generally agree about high Narva quality. Don't know about the asian market comment though.

Except yesterday, in another shop, I saw some Narva branded 12V cigarette sockets 'Made in Indonesia'. hmmmmm

For the record, I would buy any 'Made in Taiwan' stuff for high quality any day of the week, no matter what brand.

      • +1

Narva brand cable ties are far superior to Asian imports, so his comment is VERY valid.
Any time I've tried to buy cheap/no name brand Asian cable ties, they fail. They either fail at the lock, or snap completely. The plastic itself is inferior quality. I'm not sure where Narva, I suspect China… but there's a night and day difference to reliability compared to "any Made in Taiwan stuff". The plastic quality is noticeably better.

        • Good one. Thanks to you both for the tip off about the Narva cable ties.

Saw them at the shop but didn't buy but now I will!!

        • Hey,

I did get some Narva cable ties at Maitland Bunnings.
They were on display at $15, but scanned at $5!! Don't ask but the staff all knew about it.
Plenty of them left in the timber yard.

Also, the cable ties are made in Taiwan : )

Finally a good deal near Gosford. Gonna Broden a few of these and start a new art trend making sculptures with zip ties.

    • You could buy thousands and sell each individual cable tie on eBay.

  • +2

In Artrmon and Sevenhills NSW bunnings, these are available for $10.

  • Zip ties are so amazing. Still got a tonne from when Masters went bust and I think I might have gotten another bunch from Dick Smith?

  • +1

Paid $10 at my local Bunnings today

    • In NSW or in a different state? I've updated the price to reflect that, thanks

If you don't need UV resistant cable ties, Kmart have a mixed size and colour 500 piece set for $6. They are not primo quality, but they are not too bad, and great for the price imo. I'm on my second lot. https://www.kmart.com.au/product/cable-ties---500-piece/7224…

    • …they look alright. like the funky colour mix :D

  • They couldnt find it/not available at Bunnings Randwick. Any others nearby?

  • Stacks near the trade desk at West Footscray Bunnings (VIC).

  • Bunnings Belmont WA today had 1 trolley load of these at $15. They were nowhere near the trade desk and the trade desk people knew nothing about them. They were in the center aisle near containers?
Self checkout scanned them in as $27 odd, so I had to get help to bring their price down to $15.

    Also a bit disappointed their mix was not: 200 x 2.5mm x 100mm (4’’), 200 x 3.6mm x 140mm (51/2’’), 400 x 4.8mm x 200mm (8’’), 200 x 4.8mm x 300mm (12’’)
    It did not have 400 x 4.8mm x 200mm (8’’), 200 x 4.8mm x 300mm (12’’)
    Instead, they were:
    200 x 2.5mm x 100mm (4’’), 200 x 3.6mm x 140mm (5 1/2’’), 200 x 3.6mm x 200mm (8’’), 200 x 4.8mm x 200mm (8’’), 200 x 3.6mm x 300mm (12’’)

  • They were $22.50 the other day at Tuggeranong bunnings in the ACT
