Might have to open it after all and just keep it for myself! Do you know what you mates did that had their missing (contact Microsoft to get the cover replaced, refund etc.)?
As mentioned in this thread from a previous deal. MS won't send a replacement missing cover. Just said to return it for a full refund.
Otherwise just buy a cheap $1.39 replacement cover from eBay.
No problems. Yeah I sent them the same link as above to buy a cheap replacement. I personally am using a energizer rechargeable battery kit in it that I bought with the stand and two batteries from EBgames for $28 the other week. Comes with some covers in it too just with a small hole in the centre of the cover for the battery stand to charge it.
@habib23q: Battery packs for controllers are certainly convenient. I'm not sure if I can justify getting some for myself though given the number of eneloops in the house. 😁

I prefer Gears of War 4 JD Fenix Limited Edition Controller over this one. Pity there is no decent discount on that one right now.

Says limited stock but looks like they have unlimited stock. Since they have been selling this controller for quite some time and it seems when the deal runs out of stock they just add more. The coupon code for bonus in game items can also be redeemed on the PC version of GOW4 through the Microsoft store.
