Info swirling that NVIDIA have just got 300,000 GPUs sent back by an AIB partner, so anyone who can wait: wait.

    • +5

Maybe Nvidia can rebrand those GPU's into the next GTX1100 series with a BIOS update and sell off 'old stock' as 'new GPU's..'

      • They might go for some MCM options, or rebrand 1050s as 1130s, but they'll probably just shuffle most of the low-end stock straight back out the door again to laptop AIB vendors.

    • Woah.

  • No idea how true it is, but I read that most/all of the returned cards were ones such as the 1050. We may not see 1100 series until they have cleared some of this overstock.

its good when they advertise the length of these cards. it'll be a factor i need to consider when upgrading

nice find OP. this is currently $70-$80 cheaper than any AU retailer i could find.

Have this card for more than a year, more than happy. Handles most games effortlessly at high settings 1080p.

Only issue is the fan noise can be annoying at times.

But since it’s not water cooled it’s expected…

I find water and electricity don't mix

  • This can get a little noisy when under load since it uses a simple heatsink rather than a heatpipe setup like the 'SC' version.
