Same, but I figure I got $17 worth of joy out of it, and it was a really good price at the time

Never thought I would end up buying a watch when I woke up today. This is the kind of s*** OzB does to you.

And the deal, had nothing to think about. It was love at first sight. Bought one. Thanks OP.

    Oh Seiko.

I will wait for the 4th gen Seiko Monster.

    • I heard on some youtube videos that the 3rd gen was the last generation of monsters? Is that correct? I got a SZSC003 and looking to get a SZSC005, as they will be good value appreciation instead of depreciation, If I decided to sell them after I get over it.

      • +1

I don't think there has been any news actually confirming that though.
Before the SZSC003/5 were released recently people were wondering what was happening with the monster line though as Gen 3 wasn't in the market all that long before becoming hard to find and seemingly not in production anymore.
But the SZSC003/5 are definitely Gen 3 monsters, heard varying reports of it being limited or not, but the SZSC005 is one of the nicest looking monsters in the market imo.

      • I doubt it. They are very popular. If there is money to be made there will be another monster.

    • Hope they make one in the same price range as the Monster 2.

Excellent prices. The orange SRPB39K is $335 at H&S Jewellers!

Ive got the 1st gen big brother Orange monster SKX781K1 back when dollar was good.
Best watch purchase Ive made and the look better than the new ones but not as refined in the mechanism , but, still wear it daily losses about 4 sec a day and gets the hell beaten out of it and the lum is still the brightest of any watch.
This baby 5 OM is a real bargain at this price …dont think …just buy …its the Oz Bargain way.
    Great catch Watchnerd.

  • I want a large 44-46mm watch with an insane amount of lume. Tips?

  • I have a Seiko 5 auto submariner with the pepsi bezel. Had it for about 5 years. Great watch!

  • The price is excellent but I am afraid that it won't get much wrist time after I've purchased a true Monster watch.

  • anyone having issues with payment completion with paypal?

    • Apologies everyone. Our tech guys are looking into this right now. We are having issues with PayPal connectivity and will sort this out asap. In the meantime Credit card and ZipPay orders are still active.

      Thanks
