Large Gaming Mouse Pad (90x30cm) $9 Delivered @ Kogan

2180

I have a similar one at the same size, very durable, black surface is good for mice, and I love the size of them. They really grip the desk also, with the rubber underlay. I've seen them previously at $12 and then $19, $9 with free delivery is the cheapest I've seen them. I believe it's a cotton mouse pad.

  • Large size design with ample area for your keyboard and more
  • Made from high quality mercerised material
  • Water-resistant surface prevents damage from spilt drinks
  • Stitched frame design ensures it doesn’t fray over time
  • Non-slip bottom prevents mouse pad from sliding around

Don't really need it as I have a similar Xiaomi one.

Bought it anyway as it's a great price, Thanks OzBeergain. Great first deal.

    • I've been really wanting to get another of those Xiaomi but the cheapest I've found is $15 US :(

      • +1

I gave up waiting for a deal and just bit the bullet. I'm glad I did, it was definitely worth the dollars.

    • The Xiaomi one is quite a bit larger than this, wish they went on sale again to pick up another. They make these seem small once you're used to the baby yoga mat.

  • +2

Wow this is nearly as big as my desk

  • +1

Thanks! Ordered one, was looking for a bigger mousepad!

  • Should buy one and cut it into three for three $3 30x30cm mousepads

    • +2

Not if you like having your keyboard on the mousepad!

      • Keyboard? this is big enough to have your phone and waterbottle too! (I put them above the keyboard though cuz I don't wanna smash them with my mouse lol)

    • I had that idea 10 yrs ago. Bought one. Never cut it, never used/missed it. WHY did i buy a mousepad?!

  • How thick are these? Nothing mentioned in the specs.

    • Not measuring now, but I bought one a few weeks ago and it's about the same as the Razer Goliathus. Not super thick, but not thin. maybe ~4-5mm? Hard to say exactly because the border is rounded off to avoid fraying.

  • I've often wondered how cheapo XXL mousepads compared to more expensive branded ones. I'll be comparing this with a Corsair MM300 which I like but except that it literally looks dirty when it's new so when it's aged it looks like trash.

    https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Mousepads/Cloth-Textile-Surface-Mousepads/MM300-Anti-Fray-Cloth-Gaming-Mouse-Pad-—-Extended/p/CH-9000108-WW

Think I bought it for $18 but it often costs $40 or more which is ridiculous.

Come to think of it, it's frayed to shit but somehow on the edge that is farthest from me. I don't touch that side, or at least I don't see how … but it's not frayed on not frayed on the side that is closest to me which my wrists rest on.

I bought a 15$ one from ebay which compared to my QCK+ was actually not so bad. I myself have not noticed the difference but you might if you are a super serious competitive gamer. Anyways the $15 90x30cm one was the much better investment IMO. I'd only buy branded mousepads for warranty.

    • I can't compare against branded XL pads but i used to always get the smaller Steelseries QCK pads and i haven't noticed a difference, ive been using the cheap ebay 90x40cm mouse pads for a few years now and have had no issues.

      • Exact same boat here!
Maybe if my internet wasn't so trash I'd be more serious about competitive gaming (mainly CS) but for casual gamers and office users there is really no reason to buy branded other than warranty.

This is the one I got.i can't use it for the mouse itself as tracking isn't A grade but love it to bits for the look/warmth in winter

Not a fan of the design but it will be covered by the keyboard anyway.

      • Have you got one of these?
Thinking about getting one but it doesnt give many specs on that site, do you know how thick it is or how it tracks?

        • Don't have one yet, but I've ordered one

Some better pics on Amazon and rates 4.7 stars out of 5 on user reviews. Amazon specs say 4mm thick, and also has sewn edges to prevent fraying.

Thanks, bought two: one for work, one for home

Thanks OP, bought 1 each from two accounts with $10 credit.

    • How did you do this? It says I have to spend a minimum of $35 to use the credit.
Edit: Nvm I think I misunderstood how it works

      • How does it work?

        • I think the person who gets referred has to spend 35 dollars before they get the $10 coupon? Im actually still not sure, so I just left it

  • +1

    Thanks, bought one.

  • Whats really the difference and uses between a standard flat table surface vs a mouse pad I wonder.

    • Friction.

    • +1

There are some speed and precision benefits, but a mouse pad is more comfortable and doesn't wear the mouse feet as much as well as your table surface.

I've just had my dinner while watching the Kogan page and seeing this item pop-up again and again

865 people have clicked on the link but only 46 have taken a moment to thank OP by upvoting

Is that more or less interesting than watching paint dry?

      • +7

It was quite interesting to see how many items are sold after being listed on OzBargain, normally we have no idea.

    Thanks!

I recently picked up an "antique" desk from an op shop for less than $50. A solid piece of wood thats high enough to allow modern office chairs under neath and with enough real estate to set up four pcs and monitors side by side / back to back on it.

Bought 2 of these to give it some extra protection.

  • been using one of these when working on computers, prevents scratches nicely

Good timing needed to replace my current killer clown mat. I bought the old because it was cheap but the wife hates it.

THANKS OP! Needed an upgrade from my crap qcq mini and too cheap to resist, especially with the cheap express shipping! Normally 1 1/2 weeks for kogan to ship up here to Cairns

  • Xiaomi mousepad (similar item) available at Zapals for $9USD

    https://www.zapals.com/xiaomi-mouse-pad-xl-mat.html

    • That one has a postage cost as well US$8.99 + US$6.55 = US$15.54 or AU$20.59

Though as I own one I think it is worth the money. If you contact them they may give you a code.

      • If I did that would put me one ahead of you on the quality comment scoreboard wouldn't it.

        • Yes. It's been a slow month.
