Hoping Amazon will have some deals on Hamilton/Tissot/Frederique Constant/Oris before July 1st.

    • Don't you need to get it here by that date? Unless AU site.

      • +1

No I thought that Amazon would stop selling from Jul 1 to AU customers?

        • Yes, but won't you have to pay tax on any purchases that land after Jul 1. So you would probably have to buy in the next few days to get it before then.

        • @ilikeit: no one knows what will happen about that yet. Highly unlikely anyone will be paying for a while. The only way it could realistically work is if the retailers collected gst.

        • +2

          @nubzy:

Ssshh, don't tell my missus. The tax is my leverage for some early purchases from OS. haha.

  • +2

Probably your last chance at these prices folks. Load up!

I have the blue Pro Diver. Very happy with the watch.
Yesterday a mate noticed it. We had been talking about my recent decision to cut back on work and he pointed to the watch and said, "Well, you must be doing half-OK"… He assumed it was a much more expensive watch.

    • +9

That's because he didn't know any better.

    • He thought it was a rolex, not sure if that speaks more about the watch or your mate…

  • +1

If i wear this i will then need to manually count how many steps I've done each day.

    Decisions decisions

    • +3

Why stroll, when you can rol(ex).

Sorry for the cheese, couldn't help it.

    • +1

      Don't you have 2 wrists?

  • +1

    Finally the right price!

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got Gold/Black Pro.

  • Thanks op got the blue. I have a nice 23678 but it got dropped 2m onto concrete and dosent keep time well now.

  • Which country is Invicta based?

  • Seiko NH35A Automatic Movement With Hand Winding & Hacking

    What does it mean?

    • +1

I wondered the same thing homerj. Appears to mean it winds automatically through wearer-movement, but can also be manually wound. Hacking refers to the ability to stop the watch altogether by pulling out the crown.

      https://www.orientwatchusa.com/watch-hacking-anyway/

    • +1

NH35A is a very common and well regarded movement by Seiko. NH35A is the name used for this movement in non-Seiko branded watches. It hacks (stop the seconds for adjusting the times), can be hand wound (wind it up - for example if it needs to be left over night with a low power reserve) and automatic (will wind up from the movement of your wrist). It is very solid and will last a long time with little care. When it breaks, buy a new watch. At this price, it is considered disposable and you are almost getting the movement for free. I can show you watches that cost $600 with this movement.

Damn it WatchNerd, my hand has been hovering over the 'place order' button for the last half hour.

    I like the Invicta Blue Pro-Diver 9094OB.

    • +1

Best price i ever seen mate.

    • +4

Why? It won't get any cheaper. $66 is nothing really for a half-decent auto watch. Go into a watch shop and see what they have for $66…nothing but plastic and alloy crappers.

    • +1

      Go for it!

  • like the pro and the blue :/ decisions

  • Anyone else feels annoyed by the crown drilling into the back of hand just below the wrist (if you wear it on the left)?

  • Damn. Another watch. Tho I have to say its a very good looking watch

  • i can't get US$42.99 for Invicta Blue Pro-Diver 9094OB any tips? or expired?

    • Click 'Go to Deal', and it should be that one?

  • +1

    Great deal OP.
It has been a while since ordering from Amazon US and I had US$10 courtesy credit applied to the order for some reason.

  • Has anyone seen any good Swiss watch bargains on Amazon lately? Most of them seem to be sold by third party sellers, and they charge about $50 for standard shipping on top of their inflated (compared to Jomashop and other online stores) prices. I have some credit to spend, but want to use it wisely.

  • Although it's not discounted (sadly), that Invicta 8926OB is a really nice-looking watch. Prefer it to the 3044 by some margin.

    • +2

You can get the Invicta 8926 here for US$69.35 (~AU$92.00). It's basically the same but has a scallop edge bezel.

      • Thanks mate, I might pass on this offer. Will look through the previous deals, probably from Starbuy.

Now if Invicta's are your thing, but you don't go for automatics, then you might consider the following:

    1. Dark Blue Pro Diver Quartz 9204 at US$33.99 + postage, an all-time low.

    2. Mako Pro Diver Quartz 8933 at US$41.48 + postage, which seems lowish but doesn't have the Camel history.

    They're small @ 37.5mm & 38mm. Both ship to Australia.

I think Invicta's are crap, but you might not.
The first modification is to file off the 'Invicta' branding on the side given it gives you away as an irretrievable profanity.

  • Which is everyone's favourite between the 3 Pro-Divers? I'm having a hard time deciding :/

    • Blue, I don't like gold diver watches.

  • Gold is…well gold. No.

The Grand Diver is 47mm. You'll to wear on your bicep - it's a biggun'

The blue is the sweet spot.

  • +1

Not sure my wrist is big enough to carry the Grand Diver but got it anyway. Looks like good quality in reviews for a cheap everyday watch.

  • +2

Mate, everyone will think I'm a pro diver if i buy this!

  • +1

FFS, I haven't even received my Invicta from your last deal and now I've bought another. You're killing me WatchNerd.

  • +1

    If only I waited…..I have an 8926 on the way….but I can't justify another watch…

    Thanks WatchNerd

  • I have the 9094OB blue from the previous deal.

Beaut looking watch that gets comments.

Only issue is it looses 7.5 secs a day.

  • +2

Thanks WN! Got me again. A blue one on the way. What a great deal.

  • Tempted just to buy it just for the movement so I can transplant it into my skx007!

  • " This item does not ship to Australia. Please check other sellers who may ship internationally. "

    How to buy ?

    Invicta Blue Pro-Diver 9094OB (Seiko Auto Movement) US$42.99 + $7.53 Shipping = $50.52 (~AU$66.50)

    • +1

I think it's low on stock as they tend to stop shipping to Aus when this happens.

I have put a line through it and swapped the main link over to the Grand Diver.

  • Bought a black/black Grand Diver; a pepsi/white Pro diver for myself and a blue/blue Prodiver as a gift to my nephew. It will give me an opportunity to send my Seiko 6105-8110 off for restoration.

    • Is the pepsi/white Pro diver on sale at the moment? Do you have the link for it? cheers…

      • +1

        ~USD49 inc shipping

        http://a.co/8Hb2y44

        • That model is the quartz 37.5mm Invicta 8933 which has a push down crown, so the 200 metre water resistant rating is doubtful.

        • @WatchNerd:
Fair enough. Thank you for pointing that out for the benefit of those that need decent water resistance.

I'm just buying it as a beater. I had a crappy old JAG watch that I can no longer read the date on without my glasses and a cheap Seiko military style that no longer responds to a new battery and I've been wearing the old Seiko 6105-8110 (which appreciates every day) since they died. This pepsi/white Invicta will fill the cheap & cheerful daily role for me.

I also have an orange face Orient (Mako XL??) but it's too chunky for daily use. I can't button my cuffs over it.

  • Damn missed it! Just about to buy this morning then has any to do so forgot.

    • +1

You snooze you lose! It was a good deal, so next time, buy first, refund later.

Don't forget to cast your vote on this post!
