Saw this steam iron on clearance at Woolworths, I had one and it lasted 4 years surprisingly and still going strong. Saw it at $5.60 so I picked up another one.

I got it at the Canning Vale Store, still had 6 left yesterday. My friend got one at the Cannington Store, both in WA
I checked in melbourne its still $14.

This is the standard iron that you always see when doing the rounds in share houses or in the pile of crap left outside of a sharehouse that's closed down. I troed using one for a whilr and the baseplate would gather muck somehow and then spread a yellow tonge on shirts, and it would have to be cleaned constantly. Changed to a Braun (which cost me $9 after cash back) and no issues
Use distilled water.
Good one for ironing snow boards (i've used this exact model for last 2 years, works great!)
