In celebration of National Margherita Pizza Day, Melbourne’s award-winning 400 Gradi and Gradi Crown are giving away free margherita pizzas.
To take advantage of the offer guests must post a photo of their pizza to Instagram while at the restaurant, tag @gradigroup, and show the post to staff. The offer is limited to one free pizza per two people, so the only choice you have to make is which friend to bring.
They were doing $10 single serve pizzas at the food show last week, though I wasn't sure if it was good. Also $40 workshops. How do they compare to DOC?
Both are good. I've been to 400 Gradi several times (before/after getting famous) and the pizzas are always consistent & served quickly which is the important part. Funny to see a place which was never that busy and had nightly pizza dancing (staff would dance around spinning fake pizzas) to become a small pizza/ice cream empire with the owner doing food shows.
Oh yes they were spinning pizzas at the show! But it was like the dough?
The only pizza I have tried from Gradi, Crown is Margarita. I still prefer DOC since it's cheaper and taste just as good.
DOC's San Daniele pizza (the one with buffalo cheese) is my fav.
Isn't this the official best margherita in the world?

Got the pizza today. Apparently at the Brunswick East location they made 200 Margherita pizzas between 12-1PM. Slightly slower to get the pizzas out but good quality as usual. They check your IG post when you pay making sure that you've tagged in @gradigroup.

Probably one of the best Italian style pizzas in Melbourne and is my local. Pizza is $20+ so good deal to get it for free.
