Agreed. But it's unpredictable when they participate in the 20% off. It's unlikely to have an ebay sale before the 40% off is over.
Kath does not jack their ebay prices during a sale, which is good.
But a few months ago I saw some trousers at a good autumn sale price, but I got greedy and decided to wait for an ebay sale. The autumn sale was about 6 weeks, and during the whole time there was no ebay sale. And at the end, the colour I wanted was sold out and I couldn't even buy it at their normal sale prices.
Still overpriced.

I see a lot of people wearing black kathmandu jackets and they look good but in ozbargain community i see more bad quality comments than good. Why so? Are they bad quality for the price or are they in general bad quality?
I have a kathmandu down jacket & vest and love them but bought them during spring clearance ready for the next winter
People like to whinge even when they aren't personally interested in the item or outlet they are whinging about.
I don't think it's about quality, as theirs is pretty good. It's more their pricing and marketing as they overinflate their own products prices and give away at massive discount to attempt to lure people in. But we are wise to this.
I have bought a few shorts and pants there. Got gift cards when AMEX offers Cashback, then wait for the sales.
I wear them all the time. The travel pants are really light and comfortable. I think they are great. They have all worn really well.
I also like their active singlets for the gym. Super light and stretchy. Used them for layering at the snow too.
I bought my partner pants from there. He wears them way more than his jeans now when we go out. He finds them far more comfortable than jeans and they look dressy.
I have no problem recommending everything I've purchased there to date.
