How is that a deal? You can literally go to any Ebay deal for sub $800 on 64GB Model with PULL5 (Global version). And free shipping.

    E.g: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-OnePlus-6-A6003-Global-Versi…

True, but as soon as the few that are left are sold, unless sellers restock, this will be the next best price.

    • +1

Ebay is often overlooked for some reason, I love ebay, they handle issues with non-delivery, tracking for delivery, and get refunds if not delivered by due date …

Official price via Oneplus USA website for 256GB version is $629, or ~AUD 840. Good luck finding a 256gb though, its out of stock everywhere. A 64gb version goes for $529USD or ~$700. This is not a deal.

The 'USA' website does not ship to Australia. The AU website doesnt even have the 6!! So as per Bigboomboom earlier you can get one from ebay till stocks last and after that what I posted might be the next cheapest option till it expires in 6 days.
If you have some way of buying off the USA website then please post it for the benefit of others.

Use a freight forwarder. That's what I did.

EDIT: If you have a student email you can also get 5% off the price

        • Is that 5% off the price of the phone or the price of the freight forwarder?

        • +1

@Never pay retail: The phone. The freight forwarding is only $30-$40

  • +1

I already have 256gb oneplus 6 on the way via a freight forwarder.$880 landed. Try to beat that…

    • Hi, can you please let me know the steps, to buy direct from USA, and I do have student email, but I have never used freight forwarder, with my budget, looking forward to buy 64gb version. Thanks in advance,

      • +2

Sign up for a freightforwarder e.g ShipitTo, Shopmate, Comgateway. they'll give you a USA address. Just buy from Oneplus and ship it to USA address, when it reaches, you'll need to pay the freight forwarder's charges to deliver it to you. Shopmate seems cheapest, but slow. I use Comgateway myself, more expensive but good service.

        • thanks, appreciate it,

    No wireless charging.

    • -1

wireless charging limits what the back of the phone can be made of, has to be either plastic or glass to let the induction through without absorbing too much of it.

Wanted to get a wireless back for my metal back LG …was more hassle (and cost) than it's worth and cable QC3 charges quicker anyway if I'm in a hurry.

Thanks for the lesson professor, nanoxz's comment remains valid

literally who cares. I don't know a single person who wirelessly charges anything but their apple watch.

      • The only time it's a littl useful is on the office desk and that's marginal at best. I only have a wireless charger because it came free with my Note 8, I rarley use it.

It's nice to know if a phone has it but it's not a feature that if I didn't have it, would stop me buying a phone.

On the other hand, i use my S-Pen daily, so that's really restricts my choice of phone :)

  • Would be a good bargain if it was the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model :(

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/381574 $830.57 shipped is lowest price, might as well pay a bit extra

Oh I see you're still sticking with the old shit in 2018.

    Nice notch too. Very "brave".
