Yeah they say it's 'admin fees' but tbh I think it's just there for them to make money and a haggling barrier(i.e. if you ask them for discount instead of discounting the actual membership they waive the start up fee)
Pretty much the same. It's so stupid anyway because if I' paying a weekly/monthly fee, why do I need to pay you for the privilege of getting to pay you more? It's not like the "admin" of signing anyone up takes more than 15 mins, its only drawn out by trainers trying to add on extra sessions and classes and useless shit.
And as always with gyms, read the contract clearly, get everything in writing, give notice in email and in writing when trying to quit, and don't back down for any of their BS when they don't want to let you end a contract.
Make sure you use a burner phone number for those FF trials.
